This hotel is located in the tourist centre of Playa de Muro, just 800 m from the nearest beautiful sandy beach. Inviting shopping areas with shops, bars and restaurants are to be found in the vicinity. The Airport can be reached within an hour drive. The welcoming 340 rooms come with everything added for guests to guarantee a pleasant stay. There are three swimming pools in the outdoor complex, two of them for all the guests and one only for adults, as well as a sun terrace furnished with sun loungers. Those wishing to relax may kick back in the hot tub and sports enthusiast may make use of the hotel tennis courts and the in-house gym. Guests can enjoy at the buffet restaurant with a wide variety of dishes for all meals or drink at the bar.

A lovely family holiday
Although a large hotel, it gave a good vibe, all staff were friendly and helpful , there was a good choice for breakfast, the pool areas and gardens were spotless with ongoing maintenance being completed on a daily basis, rooms were spacious and clean, the only negative was bathroom door and under sink shelf had signs of water damage, all in all a very happy customer.

Nice
Yes, we are a family of two adults and two children from the UK. We arrived last Saturday and were greeted with a €67 government tax. We had no idea about this and were not informed beforehand. In my opinion, these are hidden charges. Jet2Holidays should have informed us about all additional taxes and fees before our arrival. There are six or seven swimming pools here — one for adults and around six family pools. Very good, especially the ones we used several times. The water is artificially salted, which is actually very good for the eyes because they don't get red or irritated. So, for the pools, they definitely get a point from me. However, I have to take one point away because of the soap situation. We were provided with only two small bars of soap. One of them ran out, so I asked reception for another one. Two members of staff actually came to our room just to deliver one small bar of soap! So, just so you understand how serious the soap situation is here: bring your own soap from home! Toilet paper, on the other hand, was provided in sufficient quantities, so no complaints there. We also tried to use the locker for our documents and valuables. We were asked to pay €2 per day for it, and we said, "No, thank you." Considering that there are one-, two- and three-star hotels where you can get liquid soap and use a locker without paying extra, I don't think this is acceptable at a five-star property. Another point lost. The food is varied, good and tasty. The chefs get all my compliments. However, the all-inclusive concept is clearly a little controlled — not poor by any means, but everything seems to be managed carefully so that very little is wasted. That's not necessarily a bad thing. European hotels are trying to imitate the Turkish all-inclusive concept, but honestly, I don't think they will ever quite get there. Turkey has already moved on to All Inclusive Plus and Ultra All Inclusive, taking the level of service even further. There is a nice entertainment programme every evening. I personally didn't participate because it was simply too hot and humid. But that's the reality of the Balearic Islands, and we had to accept the temperatures, even if we found them difficult. Overall, the family enjoyed the holiday reasonably well, I would say. So, although this is a five-star hotel, from our experience I would give it four stars. One star is lost because of the soap, the €2-per-day locker charge, and especially the €67 government tax that we were not informed about by the travel agency beforehand. All the best!
Honest review
We went as two families. 4 adults 6 children. I’ll Start off by saying this is not a four star hotel more like a 3 star however a holiday is what you make of it and we had a fun time .
Pros
*Pool only opening at 10 for towels, no need to rush - plenty for everyone. *Entertainment team were amazing and friendly and nothing too much (although my husband would disagree when football wasn’t put on when asked). They are really good with children of all ages. *main Pool is fun with Music *only 10 min walk to centre *beach stunning - although very busy *mosquitoes were not a problem at all for any of our group maybe a couple of bites between everyone. I was TERRIFIED about this and pictured swarms but it was honestly fine. *lake view was pretty *separate room in our family suite with large balcony (but only 2 chairs on the balcony for 5 people) *the staff work hard *the African acrobatic entertainment was soooo good - and we loved the ‘last dance’ every night - kids now do it around the kitchen at home. *good aircon *foam party with the kids was really fun
Cons *food average- first week at breakfast there was an omelette station and pancakes only once - would expect fresh view cooking daily in 4 star *would keep getting a dirty sewerage smell, when we were on the balcony or sometimes by the pool *we paid €40 for a courtesy late check out room. It was VILE we wretched on walking in as the smell was over baring, someone had been sleeping in the bed which was unmade with hair all over and all over the floor. No towels, window to a back stairwell - it was bad. We asked for our money back and used the luggage hold room for a shower which was OK. *queues for drinks in an evening. *no where to get a coffee from in the morning unless you go into the main dining room and carry it back out *room could do with an upgrade
Overall we had a fun laid back holiday where the kids could run wild and I wasn’t on edge what they were doing. It felt Safe. I think the hotel would benefit from freshing up the rooms as plaster and door arches were falling off, food needs improving although by the end of our holiday we got used to it and the kids loved the Nutella. The staff in the restaurants / bars work so hard but there doesn’t seem enough of them. Go ahead and book it as you’ll have a great time but if you’re used to other standards of 4 star hotels just expect a little less.

Wonderful family break
The hotel is execellent, friendly staff, great food choices, everything clean, dri is choices are great. The entertainment team are the very best, fabian is so good with adults and children alike.

Thoroughly enjoyed our family holiday
Just arrived back after 10 days here. Hotel was much better than I expected. The food was hit and miss, sometimes good sometimes not so good but always plenty of choice. Drinks were very good for being all inclusive, 50% off for paid drinks for all inclusive members, adult pool bar cocktails were much better than any other bar. Staff especially the waiters worked hard to keep you topped up. Give them a tip every now and then and you never have to leave your seat,Gerardo was absolutely amazing. The entertainment team were top notch especially with the kids day and night. Only problem was the mosquitos no matter what stuff we used they just weren't fazed. The location wasn't the greatest but not too far from the bars, restaurants and the beach. The rooms were spotless and kept clean with fresh towels daily. Would definitely return.
