The hotel is located in the heart of the Alcudia bay and only 500 m from a white sandy beach. Within 5 km from the town of Alcudia and its marina and also in 5 km from the golf course "Aucanada".
The hotel offers a restaurant, bar, conference room, wireless, nightclub and boutique. Guests can enjoy an outdoor pool with jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish baths and massages. For those wishing to do some sport the hotel has 2 tennis courts, squash court, mini golf, mini football field (grass), basketball court, volleyball and gym.
Fantastic resort, friendly staff everywhere. Great food every day, morning and night.
Our room was very clean and a nice bathroom with shower The AC worked perfectly as the temperature in July hitv50° C.
Great amenities. Outdoor pool with bar and BBQ. Indoor pool in case it rains. Complete spa and massage, gym and tennis courts.
A short walk down the street is a public beach. Very clean and warm sea. You can rent chairs with umbrellas.
Just back from a weeks holiday. Hotel was in a great location 10 minutes walk to Playa De Muro beach. Great local bus services up on the main strip. Being an adults only hotel the atmosphere is quiet. The night time entertainment could have been better. We spoke to some people who left the hotel at night to go the local bars. The rooms were very clean and towels were changed every day. Great food selection from the buffet meals but don't expect it to be warm. Every meal we had was lukewarm. The sun beds were uncomfortable and you had to put your towels down early as the get taken up by 930. There are signs saying poolside staff will take them away after an hour but that doesn't happen.
We have just returned from an amazing stay at BG Rei del Mediterrani, and from the moment we arrived everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel is spotless, with beautiful grounds and a relaxing atmosphere throughout. Our room was modern, spacious, immaculately clean, and serviced to a very high standard every day. The food was excellent, with a huge variety at every meal. As someone who is gluten intolerant, I was particularly impressed with how well the hotel catered for dietary requirements. The restaurant staff were knowledgeable, helpful, and always happy to assist, making every meal completely stress-free. The staff across the entire hotel were exceptional—friendly, welcoming, and genuinely hardworking. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and they always greeted us with a smile. The pool area was fantastic, with plenty of sunbeds available, and the entertainment team worked incredibly hard to create a fun atmosphere during the day and enjoyable shows in the evening without being overbearing. The location is perfect too, just a short walk from the beautiful Playa de Muro beach with its crystal-clear water, and there are plenty of shops, bars, and places to explore nearby. Overall, this was a truly relaxing and memorable holiday. We honestly couldn't fault the hotel and would recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality all-inclusive stay in Mallorca. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you to everyone at Rei del Mediterrani Palace for making our holiday so special!
Just about a 4 star hotel, but could be 3 star in many ways. Hotel is in a good location, beach is not far at all, and there are supermarkets, restaurants and bars surrounding. Buffet was standard food, not a whole lot of options but decent enough. 3 star at the most. BBQ restaurant over the road was much better, you do have to pay an extra cost to have steaks and prawns, but definitely worth trying at least once. Entertainment team tried their hardest, and very friendly and welcoming. Bar staff also working hard and being friendly. The reception staff- so rude, unhelpful and blunt. One lady, argued non stop back at us, and did not seek to help resolve our request, instead being really rude. Gave us a rubbish excuse as to why she could not help us, but then the next day another person on reception gave us the request we wanted- so very bizarre. Poolside- sunbed wars, all gone by 8:30/9am so have to get up early, and big queues sometimes for the pool bar. Beds are very close together, not a relaxing experience and feels very hemmed in. Not 4 star quality, more like 3 star. Rooms are smaller than standard other hotel rooms, and if you havent booked a specific pool/ sea view room, expect a room that faces either a hospital/ main road/ bins. Overall, a good stay, but if looking for an excellent 4 star, would recommend looking elsewhere.
Love this hotel, been a few times, location excellent , food plenty of choices, rooms spotless and pool area Bar staff are so happy and pleasant Only problem we had was we had a pool view room (134) which we could not see anything from due to a palm tree right in front of balcony
