Not a 5 star hotel experience
Beautiful property, but unfortunately not a 5-star experience. We enjoyed our stay overall, but were disappointed by the food and especially the level of service. One of the reasons we booked was to dine at Opalo, only to find out at check-in that it had just closed for the season. The €48-per-person buffet wasn’t what we expected, so we ordered room service instead, which arrived cold and soggy. The pool food was also disappointing, with extremely tough chicken, and it was difficult to get service at the lounge chairs. The service at the bar was particularly poor, and even at checkout nobody asked how we enjoyed our stay or if everything had been okay. There was also some questionable pool etiquette that staff did not address. The property itself is beautiful, and the pool staff were friendly and accommodating, but the overall lack of attention to detail and inconsistent service did not meet the standard we expected for a 5-star hotel. Given the price, we expected much more and unfortunately would not stay again.
Beautiful hotel, great location.
This a beautiful hotel in a great location a little away from the busy areas of Playa de Muro, but within walking distance of anything you might need.
We had a suite with side sea view and the room was lovely - spacious and extremely clean. Great shower and always appreciate a coffee machine.
Pool area and pool bar are great - definitely worth having lunch in the pool bar.
À la carte restaurant was closed during our stay. We had booked half board and would not do so again. Evening buffet offering was poor compared with other similar hotels we have stayed at in Mallorca. Would however very much recommend Figueret restaurant which is less than 5mins walk away.
Niice Hotel,but not quite 5 star
we have just returned from a week at this hotel.On arrival was amazed by the style and appearance of the entrance. <<<<we were checked in by a very friendly man. we arrived late,and not in time for dinner. A very nice lady there arranged for something to be brought to our room. We had booked Deluxe double room,with side see view. the bathroom was ok ,everything you need ,bathroom gown,and slippers,also good toiletries. the wardrobe was far too small for 2 people,no drawer space,bedside tables,instead of cabinets,nowhere to put small items,we had to leave a lot in our cases during our stay. in general,bedroom ,designer style,but not practical. Breakfast was very good,very good service,and well mannered. Was dissapointed at dinner. same. area as breakfast. Set up same as breakfast,for a 5 star ,would have expected tables better set up,also a table cover.There were lots of babies/small children,a lot of noise and on occasions screaming,not nice when you are trying to eat. why not a family area?. The food was a little dissapionting. Starters/ salads were good,but main course not so. definately not 5 star. the desserts ok,and a good choice of fruit. Service very good. We decided to sit outside one evening,it was quieter,but then 3 boys decided to play football whilst people were eating,and nobody stopped it!!!. Outside area was very nice . Plenty sun loungers,with comfortable cushions,also good beach access. Again good service . We liked the hotel very much,but would not stay again,because of dinner experience. Shame......

Smells like sewage
Building 4 smells like sewage and delivery trucks drive by daily. We are Globalist members and they still first floor. They don’t care about their members. I would highly recommend guests find another hotel as you might be assigned to building 4 and have no choice, like us.
Super experience
We had such a lovely stay at Sarena de Muro! The whole team was incredibly welcoming, friendly and attentive, making our experience truly enjoyable from beginning to end.
A very special thank you to Andrea, who went above and beyond throughout our entire stay. Andrea was always so kind, helpful and attentive, and really made the experience extra special for me and my family. It’s the little things and genuine care that make such a difference, and Andrea definitely made our stay one to remember.
Thank you to the entire team for such a wonderful experience. We truly felt looked after and would love to come back!
