I actually visited this hotel in July 2025 and forgot to write a review.
My experience at this hotel was pretty poor, I went with Jet2. I was a die hard TUI traveller but my partner at the time insisted on going with Jet2 and I agreed due to the cheaper price for the same experience.
When we got to the hotel, it was early hours of the morning and we were both zonked out from the flight. The receptionist explained there was a charge for the safety deposit box, which may I add was not disclosed on the facilities list as an add on price, €150 for 7 nights with a €20 deposit. We initially declined the offer, as we declined the man on reception, blonde short hair with glasses gave us a smirk and said ‘well if you fancy being robbed then be my guest’. This left us in fear to eventually pay the €150 euros.
Whilst we were there, ‘All Inclusive’ was very misleading. Wasn’t all inclusive at all, you were allowed a list of beverages but any cocktails, you had to pay for them.
Additionally, when leaving the hotel, we booked the shower room at a time slot with enough time to make the transfer to the airport. Reception had given the key to a family without booking it in advance meaning we were late on our time slot, near missing our transfer.
I will say the location was good, far enough from Magaluf to not hear the drunks come home at the crack of dawn but not too far to go ourselves.
All I’m saying is I’d never come back, not to this hotel. I’d rate it 2 stars, and that’s being generous.
Please ignore any bad reviews on here. We had a week all inclusive in August. The meals were perfect snacks and drinks available all day. Absolutely best holiday ever great hotel great location We will be back
Stayed here for 4 nights 5 days in late Aug 2026.
Cons: -Hotel definitely has an ant problem, one day we lay on sunbeds towards the back end of the pool (lifeguard side) near lots of foliage to be fair but there were ants all over the floor and walls, so much so that I had to keep batting them off me whilst I was trying to relax. I know it’s probably a struggle for the hotel to combat this as ants are everywhere but it wasn’t the most pleasant. -Ants in the buffet. I could understand them being outside and again can appreciate it’s a difficult problem to deal with, but whilst getting breakfast one day there were ants crawling all over the surface where I was getting my breakfast pancakes. Not very pleasant and very off putting. Made me question food/hotel hygiene. Found only one ant in the bathroom of my hotel room during duration of stay.
-Buffet food was often cold and range of foods didn’t seem that great. I am a fussy eater to be fair, however, my partner will normally eat anything and some days we found ourselves just eating bread rolls as not even any chips available on some occasion. -Drink tokens were needed in exchange for drinks. Again, some bartenders would get quite cross with guests if you had forgotten or didn’t have your tokens to exchange for a drink. Others didn’t seem to care and would serve you anyway. Another inconsistency. I couldn’t really understand the system as often the tokens would be left on the side of the bar so you could just take as many as you wanted not just one each. -Drink quality and selection was not the best. Not expecting smirnoff or top shelf alcohol at a European all inclusive but drinks were not very easy to drink. Found the cocktails particularly poor as they were pre-made in dispensers and served to guests. They tasted very watery and just of juice. Most cocktails/drinks had to be paid for or as an add on and weren’t included in the all inclusive package which was a shame. -Safe in room but have to pay to use so we didn’t bother which felt a bit risky. Luckily all our valuables were safe during our duration. -Paper thin walls. We were in a room with a conjoining door which was locked. However, we could hear everything. Guests watching videos on phone, talking, coughing, walking, hairdryer etc. No fault of their own. Just very thin walls.
Pros: -Hotel location is fantastic. Bars such as Banana Joes and Reflex just on the corner. Many fantastic restaurants within a short walk such as Max Garden which boasts to have the best brunch in Palma Nova. Beach just a short walk away. Location is fantastic. -Rooms appeared to be clean upon arrival. The odd hair here and there left in bathroom but guess that can’t be helped. White sheets and towels which always helps! -Maid visited daily to make bed. -Air con in rooms is absolutely superb. -Pool area despite the ants felt very clean. -Comfortable sun beds around pool. -Hotel itself seemed well maintained and pretty clean. -Staff were friendly to us, although some guests we spoke to would have a different opinion. -Courtesy room was available to book to use before departure. Hadn’t been cleaned after use of last guests but was fine. Towels provided to shower etc. -Locked luggage room to keep luggage safe if late departure. -If you’re looking for a hotel that’s quiet and lacks big groups of young people partying in magaluf this one’s for you. -Area where guests could leave books and swap etc which I thought was good. There were also games you could enjoy and put back. -One animation team lady. So could enjoy pool side games, water volley ball and yoga and stretching to name a few. -evening entertainment but can’t comment on this as didn’t watch. -Snack bar and pour your own drinks available near downstairs bar.
For a few days this hotel was ok. Location great. However, I would not return, the pool area was far too quiet for us. This was my 3rd Globales stay. I have also stayed in Globales Santa Lucia and Globales Torrenova, both in Palma Nova also. I found these far better. I think the Globales Panama would do well to offer the same snack bar options as Globales Torrenova - pizza, tacos etc. I would definitely not rate this hotel a 4 star. It is more a 2/3.
We arrived to Globales Panama ,Palma Nova, Majorca last week & to our horror the room was infested with ants.. All over the walls, toilet & bed.. We were horrified to say the least.. We called reception & a cleaner was sent up to our room with ant spray. We could not believe how this hotel thought that this was going to resolve this disgusting situation!!
We asked to be moved to another room but the hotel couldn’t accommodate that.. They were so non chalant & didn’t act as if this was a problem!!!
We asked for a manager & of course , none were available.. We packed up & left .. Went back the next day as arranged by hotel staff to meet manager & of course yet again , no manager to be seen…
We booked this with love holidays & no one as of yet has contacted, cared or refunded this horrible experience.. Do not EVER stay at this disgusting, ant infested hotel !!! Love holidays , an absolute disgrace to deal with!!! Contacted several times over phone & email & still no reply..
Avoid this hotel, don't waste your money on it, you will end up going out for food and drinks, All the drinks I tried where terrible, lager is mahou, it's awful, I couldn't drink it, wine, that was even worse it was out of a tap, absolutely disgusting, even the soft drinks like pepsi max waa awful,
The Room: Bathroom needed a refurb filthy sealant around the shower., only positive was the beds were comfy
Not enough sunbeds, I could not be bothered to have a war to try and get one.
We are definitely not returning to this hotel, We asked to change our board basis and remove the all inclusive, but the hotel refused and jet2 would not help with this. Very dispointing service from Globales and jet2.
