Lovely long weekend!
Myself and my husband have just stayed at this hotel for a 4-day weekend trip. Upon entering the hotel, the staff were friendly, polite and helpful, and it was very calm and relaxed. We arrived around 13:30 and though our room wasn’t ready yet as check in is at 15:00, we did a ‘pre check in’ and were offered a welcome drink in the pool bar, from a choice of soft drinks, beer, wine, or cava. Our room was clean, light and airy, with an open-plan setup. My only bugbear was that the door to the toilet was a frosted glass and the door didn’t sit flush with the floor, which for me, isn’t private enough. The shower was a nice big size, and there was a stool provided should it be needed. The room was quite small but it was fine for just me and my husband. The balcony was a good size and had a lovely view of the bay. The bed was very comfortable, and nights were quiet so we slept well. We had a coffee machine as well as a kettle to make tea, and there was a big bottle of still water provided when we arrived. We did not use either pool area, opting for the beach instead as it was across the road. The choice of food at breakfast was excellent, one of the best out of any hotel I have stayed at. I also did not use the gym so cannot comment. Hotel is in an excellent location, very close to the beach, shops and many restaurants and bars. I would happily stay here again.
Poor lunch service
Stay has been good however extremely disappointed by the lunch we had .... Ordered and was still waiting on our food 30mins after we had ordered (a salad and a chicken wrap). When I asked where was our food our server said "we our very busy" even though other tables had came after us and already got food.. The area was not busy with only a handful of tables occupied

Staff make this hotel
Location is so near the beach , restaurants and shops. The staff are what makes this hotel so wonderful especially claudia and kahena are an absolute blessing so friendly, helpful and kind thank you both you are a big credit to the hotel. Food is very good breakfast and dinner great choices. Hotel is clean the housekeeping staff cleaned our room everyday and left clean towels everyday. Downfall no showergel and no plug for the sink. Sunbeds are being saved but only one of the lifeguards started to remove towels which was good to see . Pool is not very big and if you have a disability they do have a hoist to help you to get in and out of the pool. I found it very difficult getting up and down the ladder steps it would be better if they had walkable steps into the pool with handrails so i only went into the pool once and the beach was much better the sea was so clear very sandy and clean and warm. The real downfall for us when we arrived was ripped sheet, dirty pillowcase and a dirty towel hanging up in the shower area from the previous customer We rang reception who dealt with the room issues instantly and Nadia who came to our room repeatedly apologised and changed our single beds to make it one large bed and changed the bedlinen pillow case and took the dirty towel off the hook in the shower room. We had 2 bottles of fizz and a little birthday cake. Unfortunately we dont drink so gave it to someone we had met who was celebrating her birthday. We were disappointed with how small the room is it lacked hanging and draw space i had to live out of my suitcase which i had on a chair all week and my husband had his on a shelf. The toilet is very small and the water from the shower flooded the floor. So the room was a real let down being so small. My husband and myself tried to humour each other by saying we needed traffic lights in the room. My advice would be to book a bigger room if you can afford one. We paid for a seaview room and the view was good. We went to the roof top bar and pool area but it has very limited seating and seemed very popular it had also has a bar . So the only negative point really letting this hotel down is the really small room. I would return only if we had a larger room at a respectable price. Luxury and peaceful
We stayed 3 nights at Tobago staff was amazing and really polite always saying good morning and happy to help. We had a hot tub room which was amazing rooms are a decent size very clean cleaners every day. The rooms are basic design but looks smart and tidy. beds are comfortable we got a complimentary bottle of wine. You get robes and slippers which is a lovely touch. The pools was good we went mid August people say the pool is too small but even when busy there was plenty of room. The infinity pool on the rooftop is beautiful well worth reserving a sunbed for 75 euro comes with drinks and snacks and adds that luxury vibe. We reserved the luxury beds 2 out of 4 days. Cocktails are great there not shy of alcohol and they use named spirits not local. Breakfast was amazing especially on a Sunday a bit of piano whilst you eat. Plenty of food choices and live food counters for eggs. We was catching a late flight checkout is at 12pm the hotel booked us a complimentary shower room to get ready before our flight and also stored our luggage. Cannot fault worth every penny!!!
Our stay at the Fergus Style Tobago
Fantastic hotel, great staff. Made to feel very welcome. Couldn't fault any part of holiday. Would like to mention a few people who made our holiday that extra special. Bar staff near pool area... Lazaro and Noelia. A real asset to your hotel. Made our holiday very special lots of of laughs and very attentive. Would also like to mention Ousmane, the chef who worked in the restaurant. Amazing food. Very on the ball with everyone. Definitely cater to your needs, again an asset to the hotel. Reception were very nice too. Always cater for your needs. Great location. Beach 5 minutes walk away. Loads of restaurants and bars along promenade. All within walking distance of hotel. Didn't really have much entertainment 1 singer 1 saxophoneist . Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. Will definitely visit again.
