With six swimming pools and beautiful sandy beach only steps away, the hotel is a perfect resort for fun-filled vacations for the whole family.

The little ones will be entertained in three mini clubs with new “Katmandu Adventures” programme, funny games and quizzes (8 months – 12 years).
The New Waterland Pool Area, situated in the hotel gardens, features three pools, splash pad, waterfalls, slides and much fun for all ages.
Guests can savor varied buffets in the main restaurant and have a drink or snack in the pool and lounge bars.
The rooms are modern and comfortable. All of them equipped with balcony, free Wi-Fi, A/C, mini fridge, flat screen SAT TV and bathroom with shower or bathtub and hairdryer.
Great location, great food, great pools. Couldnt fault any of it. There were so many choices at the buffet nobody went hungry. Little one loved the slides and the snack bar! We will be returning!
Travelling as a group of 5 we found overall the Sol Barbados hotel was really good value. Reception staff were very efficient and polite upon arrival , the location is perfect close to the busy area of Magaluf but not too close . The food was spot on and a great choice of food for everyone , the pools were our favourite part of the holiday just brilliant for the kids and the big kids lol Slight negative was entertainment was good but not enough seats for all guests and was a bit crowded Overall impressions was good and we will be back again soon.
Second time visiting and not much has changed which is a good thing as we enjoyed our stay the first time around. Check in was easy and smooth process hotel even arranged for airport transfers (much cheaper than booking via third party companies so worth popping them an email to arrange). We where on floor 7 which was brilliant with a great view over to the mountains and amazing sunsets throughout our stay. Yes the lifts can sometimes be a bit of a pain but what do people want the hotel to do? 3 is ample enough and often waiting as people do not seem to understand how a button works. Food was good as our last stay slightly above average for a all inclusive with a lot of variety. However to feel that during our stay 2 years ago we had much more themed nights could be the time of year we visited this year? Never less we still managed to find something to eat each time we ate there. The moving of the snacks down too the level where the main pools are is s great idea meaning that if you don't fancy a sit down for dinner can just grab something and sit at one of the many tables provided there. Many people complain about the pool situation however we feel that the way it works is fantastic, with people not being able to reserve beds until the pool with the slides open this works absolutely fine, get down around 9:45 walk down the stairs at 10:00 get the bed you desire. If you'd like to reserve them earlier the pools at the top allow this. Staff and cleaners work very hard and keep the place clean and tidy. Overall another great stay in a hotel which is in a great location short airport transfer, plenty of shops within a very short walk over the road from the hotel, then if wanting some food/ beach fun etc there are may options within a 20 minute walking range.
Location is nice with lots around. Saturday night was lively from across the road, possibly from another hotel. Beach walk is about 5 minutes away. There’s supermarkets, gift shops and food places directly outside the hotel and this carries on down into town.
The hotel is lovely and clean, the staff work so hard. Restaurant is big. We did all inclusive and like many places the food can be repetitive. The pool areas are good but white swim wear turned a pale yellow/green colour! Pool areas are covered with a number of life guards. Pools don’t open until 10am, these are blocked off each evening by safety nets as well as gates. The downside is how people behave trying to get a sun longer, pushing and shoving! No need. There’s also a lot of bed hoggers. Lines were forming from 9.30am to get a lounger. Steps and a ramp are used to access the pool with toilets at the poolside. Another downside for the hotel is there’s only three small lifts! The hotel needs to look at this.
Visited the beach, lovely and warm. Take mosquito spray for evening walks at the beach. We got a taxi to Palma nova beach too. Lovely area. Beaches are clean and well kept.
We’ve had a lovely stay. The only downside is seeing how rude people can be. This has mainly been English and the Spanish nationals. I’d say it’s how people have treated others on this holiday that would put me off coming again. There’s absolutely no need to be so rude to other holiday makers but also to the staff.
Great hotel with great location. Rooms clean and spacious, good view. The food lets the hotel down massively, also on half board there is no option to purchase snacks in the hotel unless you upgrade. Pool area lovely, great for the children. Would we stay again, yes, would we prefer to go self catering next time, yes.
