DISCOVER THE EAST COAST OF MALLORCA Enjoy a wonderful holiday overlooking the sea in the idyllic Calas de Mallorca resort. Located on the top of cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and near beautiful white sandy beaches with crystal-clear waters. The Sol Mirador de Calas is located on coastal cliffs overlooking the sea in the east of the beautiful island of Mallorca, between the pretty beaches of Cala Domingos and Cala Antena. It is the perfect option for enjoying a holiday on Mallorca.
The hotel is highly recommended for adults, and provides spacious rooms with a fresh, modern design equipped with everything you need for the perfect stay. The Sol Mirador de Calas has a spectacular swimming pool and sun terrace area overlooking the sea; a revamped buffet restaurant and a new In&Out Bar.
I've just come back from a week's holiday with my two cousins, we had the most amazing time, the rooms were clean, spacious and stunning sea views. The rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels everyday. The staff were all amazing, they all work so hard, a big shout out to Manuela behind the bar, always smiling and such a lovely lady. The food was lovely, something for everyone, even fussy eaters!! Everyone is catered for, even theme nights, Mexican food, Chinese and more. Yes the food is repetetive but would you have that choice at home, fresh fruit, cooked breakfast, continental food, bread, different cheeses etc, I managed to have something different each day. You could literally eat all day if you wanted, once the restaurant closed at breakfast and lunch time then the snack bars opened with pizza's, croissants, baguettes, fruit and different biscuits and cake. The bar service was excellent, even when the football was on you got served really quick. We walked to the beach which was a 10/15 min walk along the coastal wall, definitely recommend as the small beach area had crystal blue waters with waves which were so much fun for everyone. Regarding the sunbed's, yes people do reserve them but we always managed to get one down by the smaller pool as it was a bit quieter down there. All pools well maintained. Would definitely recommend this hotel, I can honestly say I had nothing to complain about. Would definitely come back.
A thoroughly relaxing family holiday. A short walk from a stunning cove beach and into town to explore and do some shopping with plenty of activities to keep adults and children occupied throughout the day. Food choice was very good and the option of snack bars outside of restaurant timings allowed choice of when and where to eat.
If you are even considering this hotel then simply go for it!
We were delighted with it. The staff (especially Belen and Nico) were superb and made our children very comfortable.
The food was good, the entertainment was good and even at busy spells during the football you never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a drink. With all other times being about 2 minutes.
The rooms were clean with excellent air conditioning.
Would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone.
I’m disappointed by the way my request for a late check-out was handled during my stay.
As a guest with a disability, I made my request for a late check-out at the time I booked my holiday, approximately eight months before my arrival. This wasn't a last-minute request, nor was it simply a convenience. I explained that I needed continued access to my room because of my disability. Given the significant advance notice, I reasonably expected the hotel to plan ahead and make every effort to accommodate my needs in line with its obligations towards disabled guests.
While I appreciate that the hotel offered to let me continue using the all-inclusive facilities until my transfer, this completely missed the point. My disability meant that I needed access to my room, not the bars, restaurants or pool areas.
What made the experience even more frustrating was the inconsistent information I received. Reception initially advised that a late check-out might be possible, giving me hope that arrangements could be made. However, when I later spoke to the manager, I was given a flat refusal with no apparent willingness to consider my circumstances or explore any alternative solution.
I fully understand that late check-outs are often subject to availability, and I wouldn't expect one if it were genuinely impossible. However, where a disability-related request has been made eight months in advance, I would have expected better planning, clearer communication and a genuine effort to make a reasonable adjustment. Instead, I was left feeling that my disability-related needs were dismissed rather than considered.
It's a shame because this experience overshadowed what was otherwise an enjoyable stay. I hope the hotel reviews its approach to supporting disabled guests so that future requests are handled with greater empathy, consistency and a better understanding of the importance of reasonable adjustments.
Just arrived back in UK
But honestly my family of five had the best week ever always plenty to do.
The room we had was clean and beautifully views from are balcony.
The food caters for everyone and we found it delicious and waiters/waitresses we so friendly and tried to teach kids a little Spanish.
The pools were clean and areas around them the gym small but I used it 2x a days definitely get your workout done there.
Plenty places to get drinks from all day and the evening.
As for entertainment staff they are amazing the had our son come right out his shell which was amazing to see they had him dance on stage with dancing to MJ made his whole year made him feel so welcome especially him being a SEN child and our daughter also loved it to so Thankyou to the entertainment team.
But all round the staff are amazing and happy all the time.
Always managed to get sun beds too one day it was busy they had a stack by the stairs was aloud to get as many as we needed yeah people reserve sun bed but mainly at top pool but still loads spare just before pool opens.
Night time shows were all brilliant too we loved so much we’re booking ten nights next July and my sister her children are too aswell as a family friends and there kids too.
Its definitely must stay if you have children even as a couple the place would been just as great.
