When you go to Lanzarote, you're probably going to want to spend as much time as possible on the beach. One of the many great advantages of staying at the VIK Hotel San Antonio is that it is the perfect location, right on the beach at Puerto del Carman.
Everything's close at hand when you stay at the VIK Hotel San Antonio including the superb Playa de los Pocillos beach. You'll be on the sand in seconds, or you can be exploring the vibrant resort of Puerto del Carmen in minutes. Want to explore further afield? There are bus and taxi stops right outside the door of the hotel.
We don't think you'll want to spend too long away from the beach or the hotel though. VIK Hotel San Antonio is a top-notch four star hotel. Everything has been beautifully designed and is a visual delight that makes great use of the available space.
As an alternative to cooling off in the sea, you might fancy a dip in the pool. The hotel swimming pools are set in lush gardens in the shade of some lofty palm trees. The gym - part of the hotel's wellness centre - is another great feature. Again, impeccably designed and sure to inspire you. There are excellent tennis facilities too.
En suite side seaview rooms at the VIK Hotel San Antonio are spacious and come with great views as standard. You can enjoy the views best from your balcony or terrace and upgrades to sea-view rooms are also available - just ask for details. In room facilities include plasma screen satellite TV, telephone, hair dryer, safe* and mini-bar*.
With an exceptional restaurant; even a cocktail bar, the VIK Hotel San Antonio is a very easy place to stay. You've got the location, the amenities and the beach; all yours to enjoy...

VIK Hotel San Antonio benefits from an excellent beachfront location on Playa de los Pocillos in Lanzarote and has two swimming pools set in lush gardens and sheltered by impressive palm trees. With a bus and taxi stop right outside the hotel, the local bars, restaurants and shops are all within easy reach.
We had stayed here a couple of times & on arrival at 9.30pm, we were tired & hungry. we were welcomed & efficiently booked in. We were directed to the restaurant which was serving until 10.30pm & our bags were taken away to our room.First class & friendly service! The hotel has been refurbished & is definitely 4 star. The room was large & clean. Nice sea view balcony & air-conditioned. There is a safe & fridge plus kettle, tea bags, coffee & milks The lighting is bright & good for reading. The television is modern flat screen & had six English channels. The bathroom had a good size walk-in shower & toiletries were provided. There is a hairdryer & magnifying mirror All in all, a cracking room. The food is excellent, with good variety. The staff are friendly, helpful & professional. This hotel has everything & is highly recommended for a nice, relaxing break.
The hotel was good after looking at a lot of reviews about this hotel I was a little worried about our choice. But nothing to fear. Reception was helpful and polite we were AI and on the 4th floor room was nice tv has bbc1,2 itv ,chanel 4. For those who like a rest from the sun. Food was OK not great but OK. As someone has said its a card for receiving AI items that was a bit of a pain and as far as snacks go it wasn't clear what was included. If you want premium drinks you have to pay for them but the drinks that they offer we found no need to pay. The hotel is 3 minutes walk from the start of the main shops (strip) and on the flat. Entertainment was a hit and a miss but on most occasions it was a hit I would say better than most hotels we have visited. You get tea and coffee in the AI rooms with a kettle safe and fridge in the price. I think you have to pay extra for any of those services if you are not AI?. All and all we can't fault it
We had a wonderful time at San Antonio. After reading reviews I was very worried about staying there with my husband and 15 year old but shouldn’t have been. Room was fab with sea view. Good water pressure, great hairdryer (great power), food was delicious (esp breakfast) and plentiful. Staff were very attentive and hotel exceptionally clean. Plenty of sun beds. Right on beach and close to strip. Would def go again…. Big shout out and recognition to Receptionist Martina and Tatiana who were very informative and helpful and of course, our waiter who spoilt us, Jianwei Li. Only reason it missed out on 5x stars was because the all inclusive wasn’t plentiful (poor drink/icecream selection and didn’t last all day. Having cards instead of wrist bands for rooms and AI was a nuisance . Evening entertainment was a bit boring and Tui support was crap (that’s Tui’s fault tho not hotel). All In all a great choice for us and a mix of ages (not many kids tho).
Just returned from 9 nights All Inclusive at VIK San Antonio. Check in was quick and staff helped us to our rooms with Luggage . We had booked two rooms Two adults in one and two adults and 8 year old in other . Rooms are ok but quite small with not a lot of storage room. Beds are uncomfortable and we had a small camp bed provided for grandchild who’s 8 year old and we had paid for her as no free child places at time of booking . Food ok and drinks ok, majority of staff helpful and friendly. Some of the bar staff could be doing with a course on customer relations one in particular at pool bar was completely rude, when complained to he shrugged his shoulders. We enjoyed our stay and don’t be put off by the negative comments about kids , our granddaughter enjoyed her pool days . Overall when coming back to Lanzarote we will probably book a different hotel as we expected more comfort for the money we paid .
The location of the hotel was fantastic its in puerto del carmen but it borders los pocillos. We were in room 4724 great room with sea views. Overlooking the pools we were spoilt with that room. It was a comfort room the bed was a super king and very comfortable. Small fridge in room.We were glad of the fridge to keep drinks and snacks. I just love to have a sea view to watch all the boats etc. We watched late morning to late afternoon. We could also see arrecife from the balcony beautiful scenery we have never stayed in that area before. It was great different area to look round. The massive beach at los pocillos that goes right round the bay to matagorda beautiful. So spacious not crowded very chilled. We just chilled and relaxing. Not as busy as playa grande beach, though I do like playa grande. Plenty more people and children can get quite busy. It's a good vibe friendly people. The atmosphere everybody enjoying their break in the sun. Chill on a lounger and read my book. No just fit in where there is room. We go for a walk and call for a drink. Yes lots of lovely bars restaurants onlong the way. La Gruta was our place to go for coffee. Friendly staff good vibes. They also do food and cocktails. We always walk the length of the promenade good views. Looking out to sea watching boats and planes. Excellent viewing so many different things to see. Not really seen it all many times still spectacular. The cleanliness was excellent rooms done every day. Great towels and bedding. We never go disturbed by noise in hotel really quiet. I would definitely recommend this hotel it is beautiful. No nothing at all. The staff were great from arriving to leaving exceptional.
