When you go to Lanzarote, you're probably going to want to spend as much time as possible on the beach. One of the many great advantages of staying at the VIK Hotel San Antonio is that it is the perfect location, right on the beach at Puerto del Carman.
Everything's close at hand when you stay at the VIK Hotel San Antonio including the superb Playa de los Pocillos beach. You'll be on the sand in seconds, or you can be exploring the vibrant resort of Puerto del Carmen in minutes. Want to explore further afield? There are bus and taxi stops right outside the door of the hotel.
We don't think you'll want to spend too long away from the beach or the hotel though. VIK Hotel San Antonio is a top-notch four star hotel. Everything has been beautifully designed and is a visual delight that makes great use of the available space.
As an alternative to cooling off in the sea, you might fancy a dip in the pool. The hotel swimming pools are set in lush gardens in the shade of some lofty palm trees. The gym - part of the hotel's wellness centre - is another great feature. Again, impeccably designed and sure to inspire you. There are excellent tennis facilities too.
En suite side seaview rooms at the VIK Hotel San Antonio are spacious and come with great views as standard. You can enjoy the views best from your balcony or terrace and upgrades to sea-view rooms are also available - just ask for details. In room facilities include plasma screen satellite TV, telephone, hair dryer, safe* and mini-bar*.
With an exceptional restaurant; even a cocktail bar, the VIK Hotel San Antonio is a very easy place to stay. You've got the location, the amenities and the beach; all yours to enjoy...

VIK Hotel San Antonio benefits from an excellent beachfront location on Playa de los Pocillos in Lanzarote and has two swimming pools set in lush gardens and sheltered by impressive palm trees. With a bus and taxi stop right outside the hotel, the local bars, restaurants and shops are all within easy reach.
We are recently back from another brilliant visit to this hotel. Our enjoyment is based on the fact it meets our holiday requirements mainly a quiet unobtrusive environment. Yes it nots your very small children's ideal location if you want a loud super activity environment. We were All inclusive and its value for money as we rarely leave the hotel. Maybe at night for a stroll after dinner to the mini golf - Bowling place across the road or the shop. The Food was wide and varied and if you could not find something to suit you on a given night . The breakfast is excellent and as with all meals the fruit quality and variety was tremendous. The staff throughout the hotel are brilliant and I would repeat they are working in a very warm climate with some extremely demanding and sometimes rude visitors. I witnessed one man mouthing abusive comments under his breath at the pool bar where the staff were under enormous pressure. The man behind the bar could hear him clear but held his composure and remained professional. No one doing their job especially in 33 degree should have listen to such rudeness. We compliment all the staff especially our waiter Lianghi Li (Sorry about spelling) he is a credit to the hotel but so are the whole staff. If you want to pick out areas where more attention is required its not personel . The hotel is not your supermodern location and needs an uplift in places with repairs to tiles walls and paint. I'm sure hotel management are more than well aware of this. Again we had a wonderful stay based on our holiday requirements. We will be back again next year.
Recently returned from a last minute booking of this hotel. It was faultless. Hotel is in the perfect location situated on the beach. Lots of shops bars and restraunts a stones throw away. Rooms big and spacious with a large balcony area. Cleaned daily. Tea and coffee facilities in room and also bottled water left daily by the cleaners. Pool areas are great 2 larger pools and one baby pool, always plenty of beds. Food was fantastic always lots of choice and piping hot! The pool bar food was outstanding and made to order. Every member of staff we encountered was lovely and friendly. Some reviews say it isn't geared towards families and I disagree the entertainment team and children's club facilities were great. Two different entertainments on a night. I can see why people return year after year to this hotel it's lovely and in a great location. Will definitely be returning!
First time in this hotel, would go back, everywhere was clean and tidy, rooms cleaned every day, staff friendly and food was delicious with plenty of choice. Our room had a fantastic sea view.
Well- the Vik San Antonio was our venue for our Lanzarote annual pilgrimage! The venue itself is on the beach front on the Porta Del carmen area strip and does have local public transport stops right out side the front gates if you want to see Lanzarote without doing the costs of a planned excursion. The venue itself is quite old and is looking a little tired in places- Do not think negatively when I say that as the hotel still meets the requirements of a very decent hotel.
Before I say what was good and what was bad…I would highlight that going all inclusive should mean just that…all inclusive. My only negative gripe on this is why or why would you not put cider on an all inclusive menu? Cider is not your expensive drink nor is it a local drink, I understand that, but for what the hotel budgets into its cost model- All inclusive should mean all inclusive-The cost of a bottle being 4.15 euros which was my only gripe.
Regarding the hotel..the staff are very well presented and looked very professional in their very white outfits especially in the restaurant. The reception staff are wonderful and very helpful. The room was kept very clean daily by the cleaning teams and everything was replenished water etc daily.
Regarding the pool area very well maintained and the guys at the bar look after your needs. Moving onto the restaurant- the various meals created and the variety will not disappoint and there are also theme nights. While staying there you will be very impressed how clean the bar and restaurant areas are.
A word of warning though…in August/ early September it’s midge season so make sure you pack some mozzy spray or cover up at open venues at night.
In all a wonderful hotel… yes she is old but she still offers a wonderful place to stay. It is quite obvious why she still is a 4 star hotel. Look forwards to a return visit
This was 6th time staying at this hotel 14 years. The hotel is kept very clean and the staff are friendly. The main bar area in the evening in the past used to be too warm but on our stay there this month that was not a problem, aircon was working perfect in the bar which made it comfortable to sit down and enjoy a drink. All inclusive includes some great top end drinks like Jamerson whiskey, beef eater gin and other good spirits and good mixers. Beds were very comfortable and aircon in bedroom was perfect. In our room shower was perfect.
If you tip the staff when you arrive they will treat you like a king. Food was good. Not over hot but there is a microwave oven you can use in dining area. Salads are amazing. Pork was tasty. Burgers were great too. Theme nights in restaurant make it interesting. Indian, Chinese, Spanish and Fish to name a few. Breakfast is amazing, plenty of choice and proper sausages and rashers. Bus stop across the road from hotel and cost less than 2 euro to get into Old town. Bus number 3 and it runs every 30 minutes. Teguise has a street market on a Sunday which we went to but found better value getting bus 161 across from hotel to Plays Blanca. Lots of great shops there and cheaper than the market. Things to do near bye this hotel include mini golf and bowls across the road. Snorkelling in the sea just behind pool. Amazing amount of fish to see. Other things include escape rooms, Jet ski, boating, submarine parasailing, Rancho Texas day or night shows, Drag show to mention a few. Overall a great time.
Special mention to Lee in the restaurant and Jose in the bar or Doctor Jose as we called him when he gave me a special drink to cure a cold. .
