Another amazing stay at Montana, been coming here since 2012! Staff are always so friendly, rooms are spotless and the food is delicious. Excellent location just a short walk to the strip. A little gem of a place and we cannot wait to return in April
First time for us at the Montana as we were referred by a friend. Good referral in many ways BUT for the position of our room. We were tucked away in the corner of the complex with a view of some waste ground and a large bin. Multiple dogs are walked on this ground and do what dogs do which was witnessed on a daily basis. Nearly all the other rooms faced the pool are which was very pleasant. We asked for a move to be told it was not possible. They did have vacant rooms. When we asked why we couldn’t move the reception said it was because we didn’t request. ??? What this meant as we had never been before. Having said this the actual room was really nice with all amenities and comfy beds. We just wished we hadn’t been dismissed from the counter so abruptly and maybe offered another room on another day. Also sun beds are reserved by 8 am by the same people every morning with some not bothering to make an appearance on them til after lunch !!! Same old story I suppose in a lot of places. On a positive note the bar staff are welcoming
come here 5/6 times a year just love everthing about montana ,staff warm and friendly place spotless ,a little bit of heaven
On my late arrival my husband got sang happy birthday to by the man on reception that was nice of him and made us laugh , we was taken to the room and the room itself was very nice comfortabke clean and modern, howether the view was not nice facing a wall and a waste bin , but we just got on with it and didnt complain, maybe we would have spent more time at the complex if we had a balcony like i said not the worst stay staff and pool area was lovely they was a sign saying no reserving sunbeds but every lounger had a towel on which is confusing lol.
Very disappointed. Paid for a plus suite but we are in basement and it feels like a dungeon with a view of a bare wall. Room 116 Situated behind restaurant and below bins. Constantly hear bottles being disposed of. Yes I did go straight to reception for a room move and was told there was only 1 other available. Room 108 or 208 can't remember which, but was equally disappointing on 1st floor along corridor and overlooking rear of block. There are 4 of us. 3 adults and a 6 yr old. The description says 1 bed in lounge is a double sofa bed. Not the case. Slide out trundle bed suitable for a small child, and my adult daughter is sleeping on the sofa. Bathroom constantly smells, is that due to being in the basement? Most other rooms overlook pool and are lovely. That said room is modern and nice inside. Pools are nice but we arrived at 11am and most beds already taken Room not cleaned daily. Doesn't really bother me but as we paid extra you'd think it would be. 3 chairs round table, 3 outside chairs. There are 4 of us! Air con good. Staff seem friendly enough. Prices at bar and restaurant a lot more than on the strip. Supermarket very close. Great location. Have stayed in quite a few places in PDC and this is the worst. Perhaps if I hadn't paid for an upgrade and been allocated a nicer room I would feel differently but I will NOT be returning here and would not recommend in case you have a basement room. I had tried e mailing prior to arriving and using the hotels contact page and nothing went through.
