A true oasis of tranquility can be found at the spa and wellness centre where guests can enjoy the bio sauna, steam bath and outdoor Finnish sauna free of charge. An extensive range of face and body treatments are also available including scrubs, cream baths and massages. Once you've finished being pampered why not relax in the indoor or outdoor relaxation areas or refresh in the experience shower and plunge pool.
An extremely varied entertainment programme is on offer at the Seaside Los Jameos Playa including golf, live music and acts and a free introductory 'sniff-dive' in the hotel's pool from the certified diving instructor who visits once a week. If you decide to venture further out then the resort of Puerto del Carmen is host to an array of appetizing restaurants, exciting shops and quirky bars. Perfect for a young family!
We stayed here with with our 16 month old daughter for a week. The location was great, with easy access to a couple of local shops and right onto the beach front. The rooms were very well equipped with the cot of good quality and everything we needed, including and bath and fridge. The rooms were really clean and quiet.
The service was great with vast majority of the staff really engaging and helpful. The food selection was great although some of the restaurant timings with. A young child were tricky.
The pools were great, with the kids pool and slides being great fun but the main pool was good for smaller kids with a beach area and near to two pool bars.
The all inclusive package was slightly confusing when compared with the premium all inclusive package, but is a minor issue

Fantastic Hotel
The Los Jameos Hotel was stunning!
It was very impressive from the arrival and only got better! The reception area was outstanding, as were the staff, who provided much needed complimentary orange juice as we were going through the actual check-in process, and our cases were taken up to our room for us. We also received 2 free drink vouchers to use, as we had to wait a little bit for our room to be readied. This gave us a little bit of time to explore the ground floor and gardens.
The room itself was excellent – it was spacious, had a lovely view over the 2 major pools and had good quality toiletries, bathrobes etc. (these were not mentioned on the room spec, so was a pleasant surprise) The bathroom itself was most impressive. A fridge was also provided as was a free safe. The room was spotless!
The welcome pack included wine and water (Water was replaced daily) plus tea and coffee etc.
The food was excellent (I did gain some weight over the week!!!) The quality was outstanding and the choice phenomenal. Several areas cooked to your order in front of you. - There was something for everyone. Many thanks to the catering team.
We met the Head Chef during the interesting ‘behind the scenes’ tour with Beata, the Manager, and the Chef's passion for the food really shone through.
Beata was very approachable, good at her languages, and very informative about the hotel and its journey to becoming a 5* hotel.
A couple of times we had to wait to be seated for the evening meal (Perhaps as long as a minute!!! – but we were rewarded with a glass of a spirit as we waited – a different one each night) and then the staff showed us to our seats. There was a good choice of seating areas, but our favourite was beside the pool.
The hotel grounds were stunning and well kept by the gardening team. There were 2 major pools – one sea water - with the pool bar in between. There were also 2 smaller childrens’ pools. There were also LOADS of sunbeds all around the grounds/pools, but the absolute pool-side ones with parasols went fairly quickly.
Some reviews mention the long waits to be served at the Pool Bar – we certainly did not experience this.
There were several bar/entertainment rooms. The service was good, with very polite waiting staff. - We were not expecting much in the way of entertainment as it was so late in the season, BUT there was good and varied entertainment each night, in both the Piano Bar and Bar Belingo.
Outside of the Hotel – (The rear gate out to the shops/beach was useful) was the usual run of nice bars and tourist shops, but very tasteful. The livelier area was a 20-30 min walk along the seafront. There is a bus service from just outside the hotel to this area or a 5 Euro taxi ride.
In our opinion the Los Jameos Hotel was the best hotel that we have stayed at and would be delighted to return again next year.

Fantastic hotel. Great location 10 mins from airport. Buffet style food with separate cooking stations, been 5 times and will return.
What a wonderful hotel we loved it
We flew early and arrived at the hotel at about 12 noon. Our room wasn't ready until 2.30 so we had a walk around the complex.
The hotel and pools are beautiful with lagoon pool with sun beds reasonably spaced and a lovely atmosphere all very colourful. We was grandparents and a four year old so we chose to use the children's pool with slides most days as our little one was obsessed with the kids club. Marie and her wonderful team were simply amazing and went above and beyond to make the kiddies welcome. It was a very safe atmosphere and we were close at hand if needed which we never were as she loved all the activities in there from painting t shirts to clay moulding, the fun never ends. When She did have time out of there she was obsessed with the slides and at the age of 4 and a reasonable swimmer could navigate them all ,So did others with arm bands.Parental Monitoring is always needed but they also have lifeguards at each pool. There is also a beautiful playground for when they get spare time and a toddler splash pool which she also enjoyed too. The waffles and waffle pops went down a treat with adults and children.
The food was outstanding with many choices and theme nights. We particularly enjoyed the Chinese night with sushi but there was many. Cold buffet and desserts inside and several kiosks outdoors serving either Buffett or cook to order fresh meats fish pasta and omelettes all delicious.
Allergens were labelled and as a coeliac I could order pasta or pizza and crepes the day before if required which I only did on one occasion as food was well labelled.
There was also gluten free toasties at the milk bar and gluten free beer for a delicious Shandy at all the bars
Most bars had usually one person serving behind the bar. We had no issues as they got to know us and knew what we wanted so made it quite efficient however I imagine this is different at busier times. They log all drinks in one by one on a hand held and using your card so each person takes time. They are looking at changing this to wrist bands to aid faster service. Like I said not a problem to us as we never waited too long and drinks were wonderful with all brands. We didn't need to go premium all inclusive as the normal was adequate for us.
The daily activities were all excellent and you were never pushed to take part there was many areas to lay where it felt very relaxing. The staff were all wonderful we didn't come across any that didn't treat us well. We loved the whole seaside colourful style it was so refreshing.
The evening entertainment for us consisted of the mini disco every night which the kiddies love! The animation team at this hotel are really fantastic.
We caught the bus outside the hotel to playa Blanca and Puerto del carmen. Very cheap. The beach was accessed through a back access using room card where there was also many shops and restaurants. The promenade here is wonderful and goes for miles. There is also a cycle lane for if you want to hire a cycle or go cart.
All In All this hotel was above our expectation. Would we return?

Lovely hotel and lovely holiday
First time staying at this hotel and would 100% return. We stayed all inc for a week.
We travelled here in August as a family of three. It is close to the airport making the transfer time great. It is not so close though that the plane noise is an issue. Hotel is in a great location on the beach and by local shops/cafes/bars etc. You can also walk down the beachfront to the airport and watch the planes landing overhead. You can get onto the beachfront easily at the bottom of the resort between Lobos and El Hierro blocks.
The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. The reception area is very welcoming and staff were always friendly and helpful. At checkin we got a welcome drink and my little girl was given a float for in the pool which made her smile. We arrived early and our room wasn’t ready straight away but after a very short wait they rang to day it was ready. Staff delivered our cases to our room for us.
The room was lovely with fresh modern decor. We were in the Lobos building on the top floor with a seaview. We had complimentary bottles of water in the room replaced daily. The room was always cleaned and fresh towels if you left yours to be changed. The hairdryer in the bathroom was good compared to what you normally get.
The hotel grounds are lovely and well maintained. Whilst there we booked the complimentary mini golf which our little girl loved.
There are a number of pools which was nice and also meant there was no fight for sunbeds at all and we were there in school summer holidays (which was nice compared to another hotel we stayed at in May and it was horrendous).
We did use the main pool near the pool bar a couple times but mainly used the kids/family pool with slides which was perfect for our little girl. There is also a smaller pool with slides for toddlers too.
The kids club and staff were great. The kids club is a great asset and I only hope that they continue to run it this well as a lot of kids clubs are rundown, tired and lack resources. The club had lots of activities and things for kids to do and staff were great with the kids. You could leave your children but we stayed with ours. The staff were also great at the kids mini disco too. On some days there was a bouncy castle and inflatables in the pool which were great.
We didn’t use the gym but had a look at it and it looked good.
The evening entertainment we did a couple of nights and it was good for hotel entertainment, this was at the main Belingo bar. Staff took orders and bought drinks to tables or if you queued the queue was never that long when we were there. We never went to the piano bar. Some nights there was a DJ at the milk bar which was s bit different. Only downside for this was it was next to our room block and it was quite loud when our little girl was in bed but not on every night.
The restaurant was great, at the times we ate we never queued once just walked straight in. The food was lovely it was probably the best food we have had at a hotel especially for all inclusive. There was so much choice, the show cooking areas outside were lovely with lots of choices from fish, meat, pasta, pizzas, specialities. The inside restaurant had a kids buffet area and all the cold foods and desserts. The themed nights really were that and had lots of different cuisines to suit. We enjoyed every meal/mealtime. We sat outside because the weather was lovely for every meal and really enjoy this option. We never waited long for drinks staff promptly took your order when seated. Only downside re the restaurant was the inside restaurant had a slight funny smell of drains so had the weather not been as nice the smell wasn’t as great to be sitting inside.
We also had a day out at nearby Rancho Texas which we would 100% recommend if you like that sort of thing. The park is very well maintained and a fun day out. Reception staff arranged a taxi for us which was only a 5-10min drive from the hotel.
Staff were always nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel, so glad we chose it after having an awful hotel stay in May of this year elsewhere.
Brilliant holiday and so glad we chose this hotel, we may look at visiting some of the others in the chain.
