This superb beach apartment complex enjoys a quiet location in the centre of Playa de los Picollos. The complex is situated a mere 300 metres from the stunning sandy beach and its lively promenade. The town centre, with its array of shopping and entertainment venues is just a few minutes' walk away, and there is a bus stop just 200 metres from the complex. The complex enjoys a quintessential island style with a low-rise building and a charming architectural design. The stunning apartments feature soothing neutral and pastel colours and wooden furnishings, offering a relaxing home away from home. Guests will appreciate the complex's selection of leisure and recreational facilities which provide an enjoyable experience for all the family. Guests can dine in style in the restaurant, where delectable culinary delights are the order of the day. All Family Rooms are located at a separate building from the main hotel building and they offer ceiling fan instead of air conditioning.

Lovely place if you're french
The pools were great, bar staff and cleaners were all brilliant the only problem was being totally ignored by the entertainment team we were sat at a table in the main bar and they started playing games all in French. Did nothing for the England game but couldn't do enough for when the French played they made us feel very un welcome because we were english ,met some lovely people but would never go back again
A great hotel with something for everyone!
The hotel was a good base, with 3 pools to choose from and shops nearby. The room we had was dated with no aircon, but after a visit to reception they were able to provide us with a portable aircon unit from a separate company, we paid 65€ for 10 days - absolute lifesaver! The rooms were cleaned daily, with fresh towels and floors cleaned. The restaurant had plenty of variety, we ate well and were able to fill up our own Stanley cups to take with us to the pool with no queries. There are 3 pools that all have plenty of sun loungers and parasols. The pool bar at the pool away from the main building had some very basic sandwiches, yoghurts and fruit through the afternoon, but the ice cream freezer was always full of little pots to choose from, and you can buy branded ice creams too. The smaller pool across the road is great for a quiet day of sunbathing and swimming. There is a small area for self service drinks and ice. Please note - the pools are saltwater, which is okay, but a bit of a shock when you get a mouthful on your first dive in! There are plenty of bars and restaurants a short walk from the hotel, buses run regularly and there are bus stops near to the hotel, you can get to multiple places for 5.50€ (for 2). The hotel reception will call you a taxi that arrives within a matter of minutes too. We didn’t watch the hotel entertainment so can’t comment on that. We would definitely recommend the hotel, and would 100% stay again!

Overall the hotel is old, needs a lot of work to make it even a Spanish four star! The good points are it’s near the strip & beach and the housekeeping ladies were amazing! The bad points were the swimming pools were in need of work paint peeling & lights falling off. One lady on reception I found to be very unhelpful! The food was very plain & repetitive & usually cold! There was only one toilet for the bar, restaurant & swimming pool, not accessible for a disabled person either! Everything was spoken in French first! The entertainment team didn’t even say hello until we had been there six days! Had a smoking area I saw one ashtray in eleven days! I found myself clearing away dirty cups etc during the day by the outside bar & swimming pool area! This is the first ever bad review I have given but I wanted other travellers to know the truth! Was not good value for money!

Entertain team 5*
Our daughter suffers with adhd and struggles to make friends and interact with others. The whole animation team but especially Philippo have made her whole stay memorable and I can't recommend them enough. 5* quality for the entertainment team they made the holiday for us.
It wasnt marvellous, but ok.
The location was fabulous, short transfer time from the airport and a short walk to the beach and amenities.
The atmosphere - wasnt brilliant, seemed very flat. We spent a lot of time round the larger pool which was quiet, there was some music but it wasn't loud enough to hear at the bottom end of the pool, we didnt spend any time round the other pool but presume as thats where the entertainment was it would be more lively. The evening entertainment was pretty poor - it was held on a small stage under a canapy which didnt have nearly enough seating for guests and it was very warm. The outside area also didnt have enough seating for the guests, and you couldn't see the entertainment from the outdoor seating.
The room - as we travelled as a pair (mother and 16year old daughter) we were given a room within the reception building. We were disappointed, the room was fairly dated but it had everything we needed, however it was small, cleanliness was questionable but it was ok. The disappointment was our room was over the bar, and the evening entertainment was loud. We werent given any pre warning about this to bring ear plugs or any compensation for been given a room which was so loud.
We stayed the last week of June, the pool was freezing.
There was a small shop onsite, which had some overpriced bits in, however there is a shop not many minutes walk away if you needed to stock up.
The food - was pretty standard all imclusive buffet, pretty bland and not a massive choicd. However it wasnt all bad the pizza was pretty good! If you like to snack throughout the day at the snack bar the hotel offered stale sandwiches or soggy fruit, nothing hot and not much replenishment through the day. We ate out every other night to be able to eat a good meal - loads of choices in the town and very reasonable prices.
The bar was ok, the evening service was pretty slow because there were only two servers but it was ok, drinks as you would expect from an all inclusive.
Overall we got what we wanted, a holiday in the sun, we didnt pay a massive amount for the trip but I would have been disappointed to pay more and definitely wouldnt say it is an exceptional 4 star hotel like the hotel describes.
