Set overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the hotel features outdoor pools and a poolside bar. The air-conditioned suites are a 15-minute walk from Playa Chica Beach. There is a chill out area with a Balinese Bed and sun loungers which looks out to the sea. You will also find a garden and terrace, as well as a gym and Wellness and Beauty Centre. The outdoor pool, heated in winter, has a small adjoining dynamic pool with a little waterfall and water jets. There is a buffet restaurant and a restaurant serving à la carte meals. The hotel is environmentally-friendly, using the latest technologies and renewable energies to reduce CO2 emissions. Each suite comes with a private, furnished terrace and a seating area with a flat-screen TV. They include a Nespresso coffee machine and a minibar. Bathrooms come with a rain shower, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers and free toiletries. You will find shops, bars and restaurants in the harbour area, 10 minutes' walk away. There is also a supermarket 50 metres from the property. Timanfaya National Park can be reached in a 20-minute drive. Arrecife is 15 minutes drive from La Isla y el Mar Hotel Boutique. Lanzarote Airport is 10 minutes away by car.

Lovely Hotel, Great Service but not niggle free.
We really enjoyed our stay. We celebrated my wife's birthday and we loved it. The service was impeccable. Breakfast was delicious and well organised. Hotel breakfast can be a chaotic nightmare but not here. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the building is showing wear and tear. Holes in window blinds, door handles falling off, shower with only one temperature, faulty wardrobe doors. The list is endless, only small things but they add up. The pool area is lovely but there are still guests who put out their towels on the beds and then leave. This is such tasteless and deplorable behaviour and the hotel should crack down on it more. Apparently there is a 30 minute rule but this was not really enforced. The six nights will stay long in the memory, in a good way, but I think the refurbishment budget could do with a boost.

Another wonderful stay.
We have stayed at this hotel many times now and never disappointed. We extended our flights and had to stay at another hotel for the first few days, which we think made us appreciate La Isla y el Mar more. The staff are all incredibly welcoming and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The landscape and architecture of the hotel is just stunning, the pool deck overlooks the sea and volcanic landscape, just beautiful. The rooms are large, spacious with everything you need. Breakfast is on a buffet with plenty of choice and always well stocked. The cocktail bar is amazing and definitely worth visiting during your stay, beautifully decorated, Leo and Daniela make the whole experience in the bar an absolute highlight. However all the staff, front of house, breakfast, pool bar and cleaning are assets to this wonderful hotel. We look forward to returning next year.

Great Hotel
Just returned from six nights at this hotel. The staff are all lovely and friendly and made us feel very welcome as soon as we arrived.
Our room was very nice, it was spacious and very clean. We had two sun beds on our terrace was were great for relaxing in the sun in the afternoon.
The pool area was very peaceful but on the small side, beds around the actual pool were quite limited but there were two other terraces with comfortable double sun beds.
The choice at breakfast was very good. There was a menu for some options with chefs cooking your orders fresh.
The cocktail bar was stunning! We had several drinks in here and all were great. There was a female singer on one evening and she was fabulous (that good we stayed for an extra drink to carry on listening!)
The hotel is up a hill which didn’t bother us but something to be aware of, although there seemed to be plenty of taxis and a bus stop right outside reception.
We will definitely return to this hotel in the future 🤍

Cocktails Masterclass
The hotel is beautiful and breath taking, front off house staff are amazing. We did a cocktail master class with David and enjoyed it so much, showed us how to make 3 different cocktails, the history and also taste test!
After the class I asked if he could show me how to make a pornstar Maritini, which he did happily.
