Lovely short holiday
Wow, I really can’t understand the negative opinions about this hotel. If you know you’re paying a certain amount of money, why would you go and complain about it? The location is lovely, up on a hill, so the views are beautiful. The atmosphere is nice too. It’s a lovely wee hotel, although it’s a bit past its best years, but it’s still lovely. I actually liked the vintage look, and it’s not like the Spanish coast with huge skyscrapers everywhere.
There were two of us staying in a double room with a lovely ocean view. The room was clean. There’s no air conditioning, of course, but it says that in the advert, and honestly, it wasn’t too bad. A wee fan would have helped, though, if there had been one.
The food? Hmm… not bad at all! It’s typical all-inclusive food, and you definitely won’t go hungry unless you’re really fussy. The staff in the bar and restaurant were lovely. One of them even proposed to my sister 😂. The reception staff, however, weren’t quite as friendly -sometimes the young lad didn’t even say hello.
Overall, we went there to relax, and we got exactly what we paid for. It’s a lovely wee town, and the beach is amazing. We went to the Grande Beach, and it was beautiful.
We had a lovely time and would definitely go back!

Lots of mixed reviews about blue sea but in my opinion this was really nice place, food was really good always something for everyone even picky eaters, staff lovely specially Bobby at the bar by the pool, the rooms where clean and tidy a little run down but nothing bad,. Clean towels in room, Pools clean. Would be great if they did some night time entertainment but other than that this was a fab holiday,. Me kids loved it, gorgeous beaches near by. Would definitely return is a lovely little place.
Pleasantly surprised
After reading so many bad reviews i was sceptical about my holiday, however i was pleasantly surprised. Good choice of drinks, there wasn’t much choice on food but what they cooked they cooked very well. The rooms were dated and needed a little TLC but they were clean and realistically how much time do you spend in your room anyway. The only downside to the rooms is the fact there is no aircon, you can hire a fan for €10 however the only plug socket we had was on the headboard so not sure how that would have been possible. A massive pro to this hotel is the fact that sunbeds are locked up over night and not released until 10am meaning there’s no reserving sunbeds and you don’t have to mad morning rush to get one. You pay €1 for your cup which you get back when you return it, making the pool bar area a lot cleaner. The staff were friendly enough. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and the only reason we wouldn’t return would be the air con.

Don’t stay with kids!
The hotel was basic!! We had no problems with the cleanliness. Most staff were okay. The food was okay you wouldn’t starve! We did eat out on a night as there was so many beautiful restaurants around us and we needed food with flavour! The food was repeated not much change. The snack bar was a joke… stale bread with ham and nacho crisps!! No PARK No Entertainment like stated! Nothing but a pool and a few games for the kids! No air con! The windows in the room were a joke the lock was laughable easily someone could get in! The bath was painted the beds were awful. One of our beds was a sofa with a sheet put on it!!
The area its self was beautiful lots of lovely places to visit! The harbour and the strip are lovely! We visited Texas ranch just 5 mins away great day out! The hotel did its job as we are a family that like to venture out. But I wouldn’t recommend staying with children! It is hilly but taxis are cheap enough and it’s a lovely walk down not up but again that didn’t cause us a problem! We have had a lovely holiday I just wouldn’t recommend this hotel!
Good value
Weve been to this hotel several times, we are Canarian residents, mainly due to the good value. The staff are really good, Sergio on reception very helpful, our only gripes are round the pool bar area, which is in desperate need of a none smoking section, as i suffer from black lung, and smoking and vaping makes sitting there out of the question. Also, the area is to small for the amount of guests, why cant the room at the side of the pool bar be left open? Our other gripe is breakfast starts far to late, it should be 7.30am at the latest. 8.30am is far to late to start breakfast, never known it so late in any hotel. Please sort the smoking issue out.
