Pretty bungalow style accommodation is nestled amongst the palm trees around the resort. One-Bedroom Bungalows with their own lounge area offer individually controlled air-conditioning/heating, a terrace with garden views and patio. Franck Montoro :)
Franck was one of the highlights of our stay at Sandos Atlantic Gardens. We attended two of his morning meditation and qigong sessions, and they were such a positive experience. He created a welcoming, calming atmosphere, guided us through breathing exercises and gentle movements, and shared so much knowledge about mindfulness, wellbeing and holistic health.
What really stood out was how genuine and generous he was with his time. We had some fascinating conversations and he even followed up by emailing us information on topics we'd expressed an interest in, which was such a thoughtful touch.
The sessions left us feeling relaxed and refreshed. If you're staying at Sandos Atlantic Gardens, I can't recommend Franck's sessions highly enough. They're completely free, and they're an incredible opportunity to learn something new, unwind and start your day in the best possible way. Thank you, Franck, for making our holiday even more memorable!
A very pleasant stay!
Me and my partner returned from a 7 night stay at Sandos Atlantic Gardens recently and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We found that the hotel has pros and cons, mostly pros, resulting in a very pleasant stay. The positives we found about the hotel included in the bungalow: they are extremely spacious and have everything you need including a fridge, dryer outside in the private outdoor space at the back of the bungalow for clothes/swimwear etc, a hairdryer and toiletries (including shampoo, conditioner, razors, combs and toothbrushes). The hotel has daily room service, where the rooms are cleaned extremely well and fresh towels etc are given daily. In addition to the room, the overall resort is beautiful; very peaceful and quiet with a view of the volcano and very close proximity to the sea and nearby beachfront Playa Flamingo (around a 7 minute walk). As well as this, the other guests staying were extremely friendly, and the smaller nature of the hotel meant that there was a personal feel to the place. Although apprehensive from reading reviews as a younger couple, there were guests of all ages, and felt very comfortable at the hotel. The entertainment at night stood out to us as well, where there were a range of live singers, DJs, and a bingo one night, accompanied by a lovely bar where you can get alcoholic drinks. The range of drinks in addition to the alcoholic ones were also great with a range of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, beer and soft drinks (all self serve). Although the pros significantly stood out to us, unfortunately there were some cons to our experience. The pool area did not seem to be cleaned very often, with one of the pools appearing slightly murky towards the end of our stay, and the floor around the pool not looking extremely fresh. As well as this, the food did not overly vary from day to day, and if you don't eat meat/seafood, there was not a wide range of other options available apart from pasta, pizza, chips, salad. Whilst the majority of our food was very nice, on one day at lunch, we had some chicken that was pink when cut open.
Despite the cons (which didn't impact our stay that much), we both had a wonderful experience at Sandos Atlantic Gardens, and would highly recommend!
Great place to stay and relax
The only negative here is that some areas are very shabby. The pool area needs painting as do some of the external walls of the bungalows and the jacuzzi needs to be cleaned regularly. That said, this place is amazing. The bungalows are a good size and are kept extremely clean by the staff who service them daily. The air conditioning is very effective. The pools are a good size and there are plenty of sunbeds. more than enough for everyone which makes a nice change. The gardens are kept very tidy and clean and a short walk through them takes you onto the promenade. The restaurant is really very nice, plenty of space and the choice of food is amazing, much better than we have had in many higher rated hotels. There is always lots of choice of meat and fish, lots of vegetables and salads and a good choice of desserts. The kitchen staff do a fantastic job. Wine, beer, soft drinks, tea and coffee available on tap all day. The bar/entertainment area is very nice, lots of seating inside and out and the evening entertainment is good. All the staff are very pleasant and friendly. Hotel is in a good location on the edge of Playa Blanca. This is a really relaxing place to stay, very quiet chilled atmosphere.

Just got back from having a lovely stay at Sandos Atlantic Gardens! I was initially a bit apprehensive having read some negative reviews beforehand, but honestly just ignore them as we had a great time!
The food was beautiful, with lots of different options to choose from, same with the drinks. The staff in the restaurant were particularly great! The bungalows were lovely, had everything we needed (including cute little toothbrushes!) and were cleaned regularly. Lots of sunbeds, we had no trouble finding one on most days.
The hotel is quiet, but considering it did not claim otherwise this was totally fine. As a couple in our early twenties it was not an issue at all, it was a very peaceful environment.
Overall, great location, lovely hotel, and we had a really nice stay here!
Great time
Location was not too far from the shops. Adults only so was nice and quiet. Rooms were basic but were cleaned daily. All inclusive food was good, you would it go hungry, there was food for all palettes. All the staff were professional and made your stay very welcoming. Victor the waiter was absolutely fantastic, he always had a great smile for everyone nothing was too much trouble.
Well done to the all the staff you were all great.
The only downside was the evening entertainment was a bit hit and miss, but DJ Gold was really so good he had everyone dancing, also there was singer who was great too, he had a great voice. But on the days we had no entertainment people were just sitting around getting bored. There wasnt even any background music. Maybe the events manager needs to look into this and make relevant changes.
