Just got back from a weeks stay,

Booked this hotel as it’s advertised as a 4* on arrival as soon as you walk in you can tell it isn’t, everything is very dated and worn/tired

Food was ok nothing to shout about a lot of dead flies along in the dining hall along the windows not nice to see whilst eating pool bar food same but kids liked it

Rooms very dated and tired and worn out beds are like sleeping on breeze blocks, whilst having shower it flooded the bathroom doors and surfaces veneer all peeling off half inch gaps under the main front door letting all bugs in, was cleaned everyday and new towels so not all bad

Entertainment next too nothing hour in the evening, and only 1 hour around the pool when we was there, kids club open 1 day the whole week

Swimming pool was cold and not heated never been away in July where pool that cold

On a whole if your booking this as a 4* it definitely is not 3* at best , I enjoyed the stay but far out the way if you have kids very good staff always happy to help

We stayed here for two weeks to celebrate our daughter’s 21st birthday. Unfortunately, what should have been a special family holiday was completely overshadowed by a very upsetting experience.

The positives:

• Rooms were cleaned to a high standard every day.
• Staff did a lovely job decorating our room for our daughter’s birthday.

The negatives:

• The hotel is quite dated and in need of maintenance, with numerous loose and broken pathway tiles.
• The pool area was often untidy, with litter left around, and there was a significant fly problem, particularly in the restaurant.
• There was virtually no daytime entertainment during our entire two week stay. We were repeatedly told the entertainer was unavailable, leaving no music, pool games or children’s activities. Evening entertainment consisted of around one hour of entertainment on most nights.

The biggest issue, however, was that jewellery gifted to our daughter for her 21st birthday disappeared from our room while we were out. The room had only been cleaned by housekeeping during that time. We reported it immediately, but there was no manager available, and we were simply told to return the following day. We were then advised to report it to the police and told that we should have stored the jewellery in the room safe.

What disappointed us most wasn’t just the loss of the jewellery, it was how the situation was handled. There was no sense of urgency, no meaningful investigation while we were still at the hotel, no follow-up, and no empathy for the fact that our daughter’s birthday had been ruined. When we raised our disappointment before leaving, our concerns were met with complete indifference.

We left feeling that customer care was sadly lacking. Based on our experience, we would not return or recommend this hotel.
