hotel, location is ideal for walks either way along the promenade We had a star prestige side sea view room which gave us a lovely view across the pool area towards the sea the room it’s self was not overly large but more than adequate plenty of storage space with twin wash basins two rain showers and a standard shower within one shower cubicle and a separate toilet, tea and coffee making facilities and a mini bar that was stocked daily ( within the star prestige package) water was readily available from drinking stations out by the lifts you are supplied a carafe in your room ,must say the beds were extremely comfortable the rooms only small down side is the air conditioning it wasn’t cooling enough. Breakfast is a very laid back experience which is a nice way to start the day the dinner experience was first class the food quality is fantastic which is unusual for a hotel. The pool area needs a little TLC sunbed mattresses need a deep clean or replacing some tiles missing on the pool floor these are only minor issues, the pool bar area very good as were the snacks at the bar . The star prestige room by the hotel reception was free to use beer ,shorts ,tea coffee, soft drinks, snacks a nice relaxing area We enjoyed the night time entertainment at the pool bar we then moved onto the sports bar inside the main hotel we had a slight scratch of our heads in this area if we ordered drinks we had to pay though if we went upstairs to the star prestige room we could help ourselves to a drink take them back downstairs and enjoy free of charge was informed that this was the way it was no common sense involved. The overall cleanliness is excellent The staff are extremely polite and helpful in all areas. Our stay was really first class We would highly recommend the star prestige adults only and we would return.
Being warmly greeted by David on arrival who couldn’t have made us feel more welcome with our favourite drinks to the great food in the adults only premium restaurant, the stay was fantastic. Yuliney, who serviced our room with a smile and was always helpful to the great bar staff in the prestige bar. Thanks, we would really recommend this hotel to couples and families alike. It’s great location and superb cleanness. We will be back.
We stayed here as a family of four all-inclusive as star prestige guests in two rooms, for 7 nights end of June beginning of July. Firstly, the staff really do make this hotel with their warm, friendly service, they go above and beyond to make you feel so welcome. The Rooms Both rooms we had were identical to each other, spacious and plenty of room. The bathroom area has a nice big double shower, has a his and her sink which is ideal. The towels are nice and fluffy with the added bonus of face cloths provided. You are also provided with two hairdryers one that is attached to the wall and another that is in the wardrobe in a drawer, that you are able to plug in anywhere in the room, I preferred this hairdryer as it dried my hair quicker and was like mine from home. Plenty of storage space in the wardrobe with lots of coat hangers. You are also provided with dressing gowns and slippers, although these were not all that comfortable as they were made from recycled cardboard. We were also impressed that there were bluetooth speakers in the room that you could connect via your phone to listen to music. The mini bar is replenished daily restocked with any drinks that you have had plus tea, coffee pods, biscuits and nuts. There is also a designated prestige area that guests can have access to 24 hours a day for drinks, including premium branded drinks as well as other alcoholic beverages, hot and soft drinks, with snacks provided here during the day until 6pm. To gain entry into this area you need to use your wrist band to access the room. There is also water filters and ice stations outside the corridors of the rooms. Housekeeping came twice a day and was nice to have fresh clean towels on an evening when they came for turn down service, they would also leave little chocolates on the bed, this was a nice touch and was much appreciated. Another added bonus was the woven beach tote bag in our room with the pool towels in that we could use during our stay, which was very handy to use. The only negative point I can say is that the room our teenagers were staying in had a sewerage/drainage smell that came and went and some days was worse than others. The Pool and sunbeds There is one large pool in the star prestige area and a jacuzzi style pool. I did find that the pool was on the little cold side for me. We were always able to find some sunbeds around the prestige area, either round the pool or the little handmade beach area. During the first half of our stay, we were easily able to get sunbeds up until 10am, however the second half of our stay was a different story, as we struggled to get one after 8:30am. We found that some guests were reserving sunbeds from 7:00am if not earlier than this, which to be honest I thought was ridiculous as the weather was always cloudy and cold until at least after 10/11am. We did see signs in the lift asking guests not to reserve sunbeds for long periods or their towels would be removed by management, but we never saw anyone remove towels. It would be prudent for management to sort this issue as it will only get worse with the high season approaching. Some guests were reserving beds in a morning and then not using them until late afternoon, which is extremely selfish. We don’t pay to go on holiday expecting to get up early to reserve a bed, this is not a 5-star experience. The sunbeds were comfortable with nice, padded cushions, some of the cushions were very flat and sad looking, they certainly were not the best to be laid on either. For a 5 star hotel you would expect these to be replaced. We found that there aren’t enough parasols for everyone, and the pool area lacked a bit of soft music. A little music in the background would have provided a nicer ambience. The prestige pool area has its own bar that provide drinks and a small selection of snacks. The cocktails are very good, and the bar staff were always on hand to provide drinks. The Food We felt the quality of food was excellent and we always managed to find something to eat. The prestige area only offers a small selection of food compared to the main buffet area, but this isn’t an issue as you are able to walk through to the main area to get food too. The positive of the prestige area is much shorter queues for the fresh food being cooked, with a selection of eggs or omelettes in a morning, or meat and fish at lunch/evening. Most nights had a theme night, and while we were staying, we had Mexican, Asian, Moroccan, and Spanish. We felt the prestige area was a better atmosphere to dine in as it was quieter being away from the hustle and bustle of the main dining area. Again, the service from the staff here was superb. Car Park We hired a car for the week, and on arrival we had to park the car across from the hotel in a small car park, but once you have your wristband, you can access the hotels car park at the side of the hotel by tapping the black box with your wristband near the barrier to allow you access. The car park is only small and gets busy quickly, but again it’s good the hotel offers this. With having the car we drove to the Montana Roja volcano and walked up and around this, this took about a hour to do and offered some beautiful views of the island and was less than a 10 minute drive. But please do wear suitable shoes/ trainers as the walk is not suitable to do in sliders/flipflops that we did see some people try to do. We also drove to the Charco de los Clicos (the green lagoon), this is only a few minutes walk to a viewing point to look/take photos, we decided to do this on our way to visit the famous Timanfaya national park which is a great experience to do if you get the chance. The Beach The beach is just a few minute walk away, we had a couple of walks to the beach, this is only a small beach area. The sea was very cold so only had a quick paddle. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday here and would recommend staying here as a star prestige guest. However, I feel that if we hadn’t been staying as a prestige guest, I’m not sure the outcome would be the same. This is due to the main pool area looking extremely crowded, with very little space between each sunbed, and it reminded us of sardines packed in a tin, which for us, would not have been a 5 star experience, as I wouldn’t like to be battling for a sunbed during the high season a stupid o’clock in the morning.
Stayed at the Lanzarote Park for 6 nights with my family and I honestly cannot fault the hotel. The staff, the food, the atmosphere was all amazing. From.theoment we arrived we were welcomed kindly and with attentiveness. The rooms were spacious with a side sea view and overlooking the children's pool. The food is top quality and the evening entertainment has something for everyone, they are particularly good with children.
Cannot recommend this hotel enough.
Just returned from a 7 night stay here with family. Mixture of ages and can honestly say every one of us enjoyed it. Location is spot on, flat easy walk along seafront into playa blanca town. Reception staff, cleaners and entertainment team are all fantastic and friendly. We had a family room in the central ring with great pool and sea view (1210) and also a double room sea view in priority location (3501) which was absolutely beautiful and had the most unreal sea views. Food was also great with themed nights. Thank you for a brilliant stay!!
