H10 Timanfaya Palace

Another excellent stay at this beautiful seafront hotel. We usually book a Privilege sea view room which offers everything we need for a relaxing holiday. The half-board option suits us though all-inclusive is available. We appreciate breakfast, and dinner, in the quieter Kasbah restaurant with its narrower food choices; a more extensive choice is on offer in the main restaurant. An easy walk into Playa Blanca, the distance from town makes for a peaceful stay. Aqua-aerobics classes plus other activities are available. Evening entertainment is offered nightly, daytime entertainment centres around the main pool area so no shortage of enjoyable distractions. The gym is small but adequately equipped. The grounds are impeccably maintained and, though there is a plentiful supply of loungers, the strictly enforced “no reservations before 9:30am” policy ensures there’s always a space for relaxation. All of this is lovely but what makes this hotel special is the people. Under José’s warm professional guidance, the whole team deliver a special experience: it’s no surprise that, like us, many visitors are returners who consider TP their “special place in the sun”.

Fantastic Hotel, stayed 1 week Half Board at the end of September, greeted at check in with a glass of cava or juice and was checked in by a new member of staff very polite young man overseen by another senior colleague. Lovely garden view room spotlessly clean that had sun on the balcony from 11am to sunset. Breakfast and evening meals were fantastic with themed meals each evening with freshly cooked steaks, fish, chicken and other meats top quality. Large selection of Salads and cheeses could not fault it. Waiter service in the bars at night with branded drinks. Pool area sun loungers were a little uncomfortable and very low however there are a few with comfy mattresses near the covered heated pool area. The Hotel is spotlessly clean in all public areas. Cannot wait to return. 10/10

This wonderful hotel has been a firm favourite for us over the last few years. Our first ever trip here was for our honeymoon and when deciding where to go to celebrate my 50th birthday we could think of nowhere better. Our 6th trip to the Timanfaya Palace was just as enjoyable as all of our other holidays here. The rooms are excellent, the food is superb, with lots of choice (including catering very well for gluten free and other dietary requirements) and the staff dedicated, friendly and hard working. The hotel is in a great location and offers a fantastic, relaxing holiday.
