I recommend the gold level 100% — Valentina on the pancake/omelette station is particularly friendly and will gladly help with all your breakfast needs.

Fantastic stay, fantastic resort and amazing people.
What a fantastic resort and a fantastic holiday - Thankyou tagoro ♥️ We felt like VIP's when we arrived and were greeted with prosecco and taken to our room in a golf buggy...we didn't even ask, they saw us outside and came to take our bags and greet us.
We stayed all inclusive in a real adventure junior suite (5467) sometimes called a themed or Merlin room. Our room was immaculate and we couldn't get over the size of it! Everything we needed was there, even bottled water. The beds in the master room are huge. The bathroom is massive, with double sinks, large shower cubicle, bath and toilet cubicle. There are toiletries available.
There is a qr code in the room, near the kettle, that takes you to what is effectively the hotel bible. Everything you need to know is there - from the entertainment programme to kids club and spa booking. I didn't discover this until the second day so would probably recommend the hotel made it a little more obvious.
What really struck us about he hotel was how safe it was and how well thought out it was in terms of the real adventure area and kids area. Our child has ADHD and ASD - this is the only place we have been where she's been able to be more independent without us worrying. To be able to actually relax whilst they played was incredible.
The entire resort is immaculate. Every morning and throughout the day we noticed that there were always staff about doing maintenance and keeping it tidy.
The staff here are phenomenal and deserve a ton of praise. Sadly I don't have all the names but the animation crew are fantastic and if we could have tipped them we would have. Particularly the girls leading the mini disco - absolutely fantastic at what they do. Montserrat in the main restaurant (and often popping up in others) is incredible - always working and so friendly. She really made us feel welcome! There is a lady who works the evenings in the Isla magica bar (Kayla - I think is her name) who is also absolutely lovely and makes incredible cocktails. Also the guys in the real adventure snack bar and buffet (sorry, I don't know your names) were also incredible and absolutely deserve recognition for their personalities, attention to detail and friendliness.
We did not meet a single member of staff who didn't treat us wonderfully - Thankyou all, you made our holiday.
The food was lovely, plenty on offer for a family of three who all eat different things! I can honestly not understand where the previous bad reviews have come from! I think my only note here would be we occasionally couldn't work out what something was as it either wasn't labelled or was mislabelled. Not a problem though as tons of staff around there help.
I would recommend sitting on the terrace behind the sports bar at about 7pm (October) to watch that stunning view.
Honestly, Thankyou tagoro, from the bottom of our hearts. We had the absolute best time - to the point that on our last night there were serious emotions when we sat on the terrace in Castillo and watched that view for the last time and we cried when we left the following day!
Lovely October mid-term family holiday
Great family atmosphere with everything that you’d need for kids. Very accommodating staff - the kids loved the entertainment team and went to the kids club each morning for 2 hours (no extra cost). Very spacious rooms - we stayed in the Junior Suite ground floor which had a lovely terrace overlooking the sea. Food was tastey and lots of variety at the buffet, with two à la carte options at a supplementary cost. Definitely recommend for families - especially with kids below 12!

Great place, nice location, friendly staff - can't do enough for you, Christian and his team in the restaurant work so hard. Rooms cleaned daily and they are so massive and big balcony and great sea views. Just blown away. Surpassed our expectations. Thank you!

A great destination for all the family.
We loved our stay at gran castillo. The rooms were a great size and very clean. My daughter is ceoliac and the accommodated to that very well . The service was brilliant. A particular shout out to Christian and Luis who really looked after us but there were plenty of others who made sure everything was perfect too. The entertainment was not to our taste however everything was fantastic. We’d recommend the gold package which gave you access to a lovely private pool area, dining space and premium top shelf drinks.
