The AWFUL bar above the supermarket, with the down right terrible singers? EVERY SINGLE NIGHT!!!! Ruined the holiday, we will never be back at this end 🙉 - STFU!!!!!
Stayed at Flamingo Beach for 11 nights, cannot fault the place. We went for the very beginning of July so we could see it getting busier by the end of our stay. It is absolutely worth more than its official 2 star rating! Reception staff lovely and helpful. Emailed prior to our stay for our 2 rooms to be next to each other which they were. Rooms are well equiped. Handle broke/fell off on our gate but this was picked up without us even reporting it and fixed quickly. Food is lovely, plenty of choice, nice desserts. Drinks also very nice. Loved that the beer and soft drinks were self pour so didn't have to queue up for these. Good daytime entertainment/games around the pool. Evening entertainment was ok but to be honest we would go out to the Flamingo Inn just down on the beachfront where they had a live singer/elvis tribute, or go we'd for a nice walk along the promenade. Location is fab! Flamingo beach is just a couple of mins walk and then the walk along the promade is lovely and takes you past a harbour with lots of fish to look at and lots of restaurants further along. Sunbeds weren't an issue at the beginning of the stay but by the end as it got busier we had to be up and out early to get beds by the main pool! There are signs saying not to reserve sunbeds but people do. Not a hotel problem but a guest problem. We love Playa Blanca, our 3rd time here and we will be going again next year as my teenage sons love it there. And I would definitely stay at Flamingo beach again!!
This has been 1 of the Best holidays I've been on, Everything from the Reception, bar staff, cleaning staff and the Entertainment staff were absolutely 💯 % Fantastic, I would Honestly Recommend it to All ages from families to elderly people just wanting a Great Relaxing holiday,
Generally disappointed, hotel staff unfriendly, no apologies for various room issues we had (broken air con and 2 days of floods from bathrooms). Pool area and tui entertainment staff very good, something for everyone. All inclusive buffet was ok, not 4 star level though and very poorly labelled which was hard for vegetarian and allergies.
Love playa Blanca, flamingo beach not so much! The room and cleaning is very good - our cleaner Fatima was really nice, friendly and chatty, did an amazing job. Pools very busy, people were saving sunbeds against hotel policy but no one was doing anything about it. Apparently there is a welcome meeting but we only found out about it during our second week when the neighbours had a flyer! The food is dreadful, flavourless soft mush! The drinks machines dispensed ‘cola cola’ unlike anything I have ever tasted before. We opted to visit the taverna as art of the inclusive deal - don’t bother food is just as tasteless. The room and balcony/terrace was lovely to chill on. The room was equipped with a small kitchenette, kettle, microwave and fridge. We were lead to believe it was good for children but saw little evidence of this apart from 4 small paddling pools. I doubt very much that we will stay here again.
