Beautiful hotel in a great location.
This was our second trip to this hotel and we love it. The staff, the accommodation and the facilities are amazing. We can’t wait to return.

Well worth a visit
Just returned today (18/7/26) from Playa Blanca Lanzarote adults only Royal Level. Lovely and quiet relaxing atmosphere pleasant staff.The rooms are spacious and kept spotlessly clean every day. A good selection of menus and food from the full alacarte in Magical to the buffet meals served on the family section. It’s not a cheap Holiday by all means but the Hotel and its surroundings
More than make up for it. It would benefit for pool waiters service like other Hotels in the area provide.
This was our second time this year, we were there in March which was much busier than this time.
On the entertainment side it needs improvement more class acts, in October last year we stayed at Dreams and the entertainment was far superior.
On the hole it’s still a good place to spend your Holiday
Royal Level - fit for King!
Barceló Playa Blanca is immaculately clean - especially the Royal Level. Easy check in and everything was explained well. Highly highly recommend a swim up room in Block 2 - very quiet and peaceful, hardly anyone was using their swim ups so had it largely to ourselves most of the time.
Service Couldn’t fault it! Especially in all of the restaurants.
Food There were a few different places to eat. The Magical Restaurant (Royal Level only) was superb for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast is a mix of a small buffet plus à la carte. Lunch is a varied menu, again à la carte. Dinner also a mix of à la carte and small buffet. The main buffet (Atlantic) was for all guests and was very good compared to other AI buffets we’ve been too. Very clean, good amount of staff, food was decent. The All Inclusive allows you to eat in 1 of the 2 themed restaurants. We chose Koi (Asian) but there is also a Mexican one. Koi was superb - we paid extra for a Korean BBQ experience which was fantastic and a lot of meat!! Pool bar at Royal Level very good Main snack bar was ok, food was a bit basic, but did the job. My only criticism was the royal level pool bar could have remained open later in the evening - it’s got a beautiful setting which overlooks the harbour but closes at 7pm
Towels Towels are good quality. Beach towels can also be refreshed at any point during the day too (Royal Level)
Maintenance Issues Sadly we had 2 issues during our stay with our room. Both were dealt with promptly but I thought worth mentioning. First was the shower tray wasn’t draining and kept filling with water. Second and much more inconvenient was the door to our bathroom was locked shut from the outside! Maintenance man did attend within 10 minutes but not ideal

Best hotel, will be returning
Stayed in July 2026 in a deluxe room. The room was modern, good size and cleaning was throughout the stay. The pool and area around it was clean, lots of sunbeds available all day with lots of parasols available. The Magical restaurant was good, nice service, menu had variety throughout the week and the food was good quality, probably the best all inclusive food I’ve had. I also ate at the Koi oriental restaurant, good quality food and nice selection, this was free as part of the royal level all inclusive option to eat at one of the 2 themed restaurants. All members of staff I came across were friendly, helpful and seemed to want to help and serve you. The only area for improvement was the gym, it’s quite small and equipment is limited and dated. Overall best hotel I’ve stayed at and will be back again. Recommend the marina area and the shops below the hotel as well.

Nice relaxing stay.
Had a week at Barcelo. Everything was wow on arrival. Had a swim up room which was great for us. Rooms beautiful and clean, wardrobe space was great. Lovely restaurants and outside seating was good in the hotel grounds.
