The resort complex main swimming pool is a 180metrelong temperature regulated infinity pool There is also a Conference Centre with capacity for 800 people a theatre and several meeting rooms in addition to themed restaurants Asian and Mexican bars and 2 buffet restaurants.
The complex has a Wellness Centre with a Spa and Gymnasium a sports centre with tennis courts and paddle tennis and play areas for children including a children swimming pool and a pirate ship and offers entertainment for both children and adults.
Barcelo Playa Blanca covers an area of 1000000 m2 right on the seafront 100 metres from the beach and close to the Rubicon Marina a promenade with a pleasure marina restaurants bars shops and leisure zones.

Fantastic 7 Day Stay
Barcelo Playa Blanca is an excellent Hotel in every way excellent pool, great food fantastic rooms brilliamt staff and entertainment so much so we booked to come back in March whilst we were there, if this hotel does not satisfy your needs you seriously need to question your own judgment

Excellent holiday
Everything about the holiday and hotel was 5 star. Food is lovely and every member of staff are warm and friendly, from senior staff to those attending the grounds, always took time to smile and greet you. It’s our 2nd year here and will definitely be returning. 👏👏👏😁
3rd visit to the Barcelo Playa Blanca
This was our 3rd time at The Barcelo Playa Blanca, excellent location, facilities and staff, special mention to Emma on reception, we were allocated a 1st floor room with balcony overlooking the pool and side sea view, a few staff in restaurant especially Tamara who is a breath of fresh air, our towel/pool attendant Salva, a few good conversations with him, the Hawk man and security guard, great staff at the Breeze pool bar and of course Champs including Samuel (boss man) and the bar staff including Fabio. All round great service by all and another relaxing holiday, thank you again 🙏
Excellent hotel
Excellent hotel in perfect location, we stayed in a superior room we a pool view, the room was lovely & the standard of cleaning was excellent, breakfast was great, evening meals were good but unfortunately some dishes that had sat for a while were a little cold, the pool & surrounding areas were well maintained & spotlessly clean, overall we had a fabulous holiday
Perfect.
The location is perfect. The rooms are spotlessly clean & spacious. The pool is massive, with 1 half heated, never a problem getting a sunbed. The hotel is stunning & immaculate. The staff could not be any friendlier, and are a credit to the hotel. Champs bar staff are on the ball, and you dont wait long to be served, could do with some music in the bar though. Food choices are many, even fussy eaters would find something, and the food is very good, so many choices, but could be hotter, though that is the problem at every buffet, anywhere. Had an absolutely lovely stay, enjoyed every minute. Would i return, most definitely. Thank you Barcelo, and all your amazing staff, hope to see you all again, soon.
