Absolutely fantastic stay location is great, very clean, helpful staff, pool bar food is good, would have been 5 * however there was no air conditioning and we had to pay €16 for a fan which I think is a bit of a con as it was 30• heat
Ignore the bad reviews … FABULOUS place
I was a tad dubious about staying here after reading the reviews. I shouldn’t have been! The room we had (15) was enormous with a fantastic view. The balcony was ginormous with sun all day. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The maid came mid week and changed the bed and towels. The pool was great, not over crowded and no music! The whole place exceeded my expectations by 1 million percent. So much so I’ll e going back. We had a car but our friends walked to the beach which took 35 mins. It is out of the way but very peaceful. The staff were friendly and helpful. Absolutely no complaints.

Honest review with some key notes for people considering booking
Please be aware that the images on this advertisement are extremely out-dated! Firstly, the air-con in the rooms has not worked in over 10 years, so be prepared to pay €26 a week for a fan rental (€10 back if you give the fan back on checkout, if you leave it in the room you won’t get €10 back). The weather was around 25-27 degrees while we stayed here, so can imagine how this may feel during hotter months, would probably image having to leave windows open and maybe even the balcony door to get some kind of breeze passing through. There are 2 buses (free of charge) but only at the times of 11am and 4pm that picks you up outside the hotel. The room was open-plan (kitchen, bed, 2 chairs and a table in the corner). There was a TV on the wall that was the size of a laptop screen…. The only entertainment was on a Wednesday at 9:30pm. The praise goes to the cleaners, as they mopped our room and gave us fresh towels and fresh bedding a couple times during our stay which was really nice. Overall, you get what you pay for, if you have a tight budget then you will like it here, but if you have stayed in other locations in Costa teguise it’s hard to not compare.
Cristal(mirror) was hugely overcharged
Just came back from Lanzarote paradise a week ago. We had a lovely holiday apart from an incident happened which almost ruined our holiday in this hotel! The mirror( Cristal sized appropriately 70×50CM) was broken by accident and I reported to the hotel straight away and informed tthem that if I will be charged? If I'm charged..let me know the price. Here we go..so I was informed the next day that I would be charged 190 EUR for that mirror??! I had dispute with the hotel and refused to pay that amount of money. The hotel obviously over charged me and this is a total ripoff! The next day the hotel sent me another invoice to say that I will be charged 110 Euro instead of 190 because they will not charge me the labour to put the mirror into the frame?! So the labour for a mirror to fit in the frame costs 80 eur?? And invoice was made so unprofessional as it showed the tax was charged 102.30 eur and the mirror costs 7.7eur? The manager's excuse was they made mistake? What a joke?! This made me speechless! I was honest to them but instead they punished me with unbelievably unreasonable price! I could have refused to pay this unreasonable charge but at the end I did pay them as I take some responsibility for the mirror broken and clearly they treated me unfairly from the beginning! At the end of the day I lost 110 EUR but this hotel lost more than that! So never again back to LANZAROTE PARADISE COLINA. WARNING to everyone..watch when you are there... Don't break anything as there definitely will be a huge rip off ahead off you!
not a nice place - no bar - no satisfaction- too far out and the picture is totally different to the place- would
Pool area poor - not as outlined on web. Supermarket a good 20 min walk - had to get taxi back. Centre a 40 min walk - no bar so had to go out all the time. Linen only changed once. Shower over bath. apartments were dated. never ever again - waste of money
