This hotel is situated in one of the most attractive touristic destinations of the island, Costa Teguise resort. Surrounded by a magnificent canary garden, the hotel offers its guests magnificent views over the Atlantic Ocean. The capital is around 1.5 km away and can be easily reached by car.The hotel is perfect for families with children who love spending time at the pool. Lanzarote airport is just 10 km away.

Honestly food is awful everything is either overcooked dry and cold or just cold there’s a weird commitment to having cold food all the time and the options are honestly terrible , ontop of that the drink situation is appalling 2 drinks per person which is fair enough but the drink sizes are crazy very small glasses to limit what you’re getting which just makes you go upto the bar much more causing more work for the bartenders instead of giving you a normal size drink or pint they are very small glasses , I will say the rooms are nice but the hotel is like a maze , and have to give 1 euros deposit to have a tiny plastic cup outside near the pool we didnt have cash so was told to use the atm outside which only gave 50 euros minimum aswell as charging 5euros ontop just to get the money out seems well planned considering everywhere else in the hotel takes card
The aircon in the room is basically non existent constantly waking up soaked in sweat because of how hot the rooms get
A main issue is the food and also drink sizes very very small glasses which you can drink before you get back to your table so you find yourself constantly going up for another drink
Some positives, mostly negative…
Highlight of our stay was definitely the friendly and sweet cats who would enjoy some pets in our balcony/garden each morning and evening.
Staff in small shop were brilliant, always super welcoming and willing to help. Shop is well stocked but slightly overpriced compared to local shops which isn’t unusual given its convenience.
Sadly for us, the positives, for the most part end here.
Whilst the room was reasonably nice in look, we were on the ground floor and were distracted by constant noise/music from 11am to midnight most days. It only really annoyed me on a couple of occasions when I fancied an early night and it was particularly loud.
The air con in the room was horrific. Weather was 29/30 degrees our first few days and it felt hotter in the room than outside, despite keeping our curtains closed 24/7 and air con on. The hotel comments air con is seasonal however you cannot justify not providing working air con in that heat. We ended up buying a fan which made it bearable enough to sleep.
As for the food… if you do decide to stay here, do not waste your money going all inclusive. I am not a fussy eater by any means and found the food inedible. We tried the all inclusive buffet on three occasions and following that ate out for every meal. I have frequented plenty of AI buffets in my time ranging from 2 to 4 stars and nothing has even compared to how awful this was.
Sadly would not visit this or any other Bluesea hotels in future. Devastated as I read great things online before going! Costa Teguise is 100% worth the visit but please do yourself a favour and find a better hotel.

Very basic hotel, should be 3 star.
Hotel not as described, rooms clean, but............ . Aircon did not work. . Food terrible. . Resort to far from shops and Hotel surrounded by demolished buildings. . Pool and pool area in disrepair. . Drinks in small cups and 1 euro deposit for each plastic cup.

Not a 4* and not truly all inclusive. Whilst the staff give 100% there is much to be disappointed by.
Firstly, whilst there are no smoking signs everywhere and a designated smoking area, every smoker ignored the signs. Around the pool and on the terrace where the entertainment is everyone smoked or vaped openly and staff ignored it all.
EasyJet advertise it as all inclusive but its not. You have to pay for the safe, pool towels, bottled water and all deposits have to be paid for in Euros so take cash with you. However the WIFI is free and works almost everywhere in the hotel. There is no shade umbrellas near or around the pool so no escape from the sun.
The food is boring and very beige and because they only have stone cold plates, the food is cold by the time you sit down to eat it. We had some sort of wrap 3 times in one week. The salad choice is good and they always have chips, but if you cannot find anything to eat, some guests were ordering in McDonalds or Burger King by UberEATS. You can only get hot drinks with breakfast or at the bars.
The entertainment is very poor but the staff do try, Karaoke (twice in the week) was quite entertaining with the drunks who think they can sing. The location of the hotel means you have to get a taxi or bus to the town/shops.
Finally, mobile phones. Why does everyone have to talk on facetime or loud speaker. People are on holiday and yet everyone is on their phones be it by the pool, in the restaurant, during the entertainment. Don't get me wrong, I had my mobile but it was on silent and used WhatsApp for messaging.
Did we enjoy it? The sun shone, the pool was cold but cooling in the heat, plenty of sunbeds and it did not cost the earth, but I would not go there again.

A Very Enjoyable Stay, Let Down Slightly by the Food
We originally booked a seven-night all-inclusive holiday at BLUESEA Costa Bastián but enjoyed our stay enough to extend it to 14 nights.
The hotel was very clean throughout our stay. Our room was cleaned and the beds made every day, and we were very happy with the general standard of cleanliness.
All the staff we encountered were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment for us was the food. Although there was a good variety of dishes available, we felt that the overall quality and taste were below expectations. Much of the food tasted rather basic and inexpensive, and despite the wide selection, the standard of the meals left quite a lot to be desired.
Interestingly, breakfast was probably the most enjoyable meal of the day and generally seemed to be of a better standard than lunch or dinner. We felt that improving the overall quality of the food, particularly at lunchtime and in the evening, would make a significant difference to the experience.
For anyone wishing to visit Pueblo Marinero, the main square in Costa Teguise, a taxi from the hotel typically costs around €5, which is very reasonable.
The hotel also provides towels for a refundable deposit of €10 per towel. We were allowed to take these towels to the beach, which was particularly convenient.
Another positive was the assistance provided on our departure day. Although checkout was at 12 noon, the hotel securely stored our suitcase and provided access to a room where we could shower and freshen up before heading to the airport. This was a very welcome service.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable two-week holiday. The cleanliness, friendly staff and helpful facilities were all excellent. I would have happily given the hotel five stars, but unfortunately the standard of the food brings my rating down to four.
Despite this criticism, we would happily return to BLUESEA Costa Bastián in the future, and we would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in Costa Teguise.
