- Gloria Palace San Agustin Thalasso and Hotel

Partly renovated in 2007, this hotel comprises a total of 346 double rooms spread over 9 floors. Facilities include a lobby with a 24-hour reception desk and lifts. There are also 2 bars, a nightclub, a TV room and an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant with a separate non-smoking area. A conference room, public Internet terminal (additional fee), room, laundry and medical services and a car park round of the hotel's facilities and guests may relax in the complex's bewitching grounds.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Massive hotel pool to small, sun beds hogged , food best at lunches seam to run out of cooked meats at night , snack bar great beers good , bar at reception and little bar that's a cargo container closed all the time no need to many people to serve ,the entertainment team the main guy brilliant , the terrace bar is lovely cocktails are nice but 20mins wait no moaning just a warning , overall clean, cockroaches are lively but never in our room or balcony. Our Room was immaculate and great for a family .
We have had a wonderful 11 nights here as a family of four with 2 teenagers.
Staff are so friendly, Anna and Lars on the entertainment team were just fabulous. Water polo was my son’s favourite activity and we all enjoyed the bingo.
Rosi was the absolute sweetest bar lady ever. She helped me to practice my Spanish and always had a smile for us.
The cleaning staff are plentiful, this place is immaculate.
Please go to the upstairs bar for a cocktail one night, it is super special up there and you get a discount if all inclusive.
For any tennis teens out there, get in touch with Darrod tennis academy. My son trained 30 hours with them getting picked up and dropped off each day. Such a fantastic academy.
Would we come back….. yes.
we all had a great time at gloria palace would recommend i like the spa next door a must try and the rooftop bar and pool well nice
10days all inclusive family holiday
Great hotel with excellent facilities
I'd rate this hotel 4 stars because of its fantastic amenities, especially the spa and rooftop area. Without those, it would probably feel more like a 3-star hotel.
The hotel was very clean throughout. Our room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the shower was honestly one of the best I've ever used.
All of the staff we encountered were helpful. Yes, there may be the occasional grumpy member of staff, but when they're working in 40°C heat wearing full uniforms, it's understandable. A little patience goes a long way.
The downstairs pools are saltwater, while the rooftop pool is natural water. We spent most of our time on the rooftop, which was lovely. Sunbeds cost €15 for one or €21 for two. There are also larger daybeds and sofas available at a higher price, with all costs clearly displayed.
Not everything is included in your stay, but it was very clear what was complimentary and what came at an extra cost.
There's a small on-site shop selling gifts, snacks, clothing, and jewellery, as well as a pharmacy, which was really handy.
The beach is within walking distance, but there's also a free shuttle bus if you prefer not to walk.
Check-in was quick and straightforward.
There was a good selection of drinks. Spirits are free-poured, so some can be quite strong. The cocktails from the pool and buffet bars come from a machine and were a little too sweet for our taste. The Gloria Bar, however, makes cocktails fresh, and they were much better.
The food was good, with plenty of variety. Our daughter is a very picky eater, but she managed to find something she liked at every meal. Breakfast was definitely the standout, with an excellent choice. Lunch and dinner also offered plenty of options.
We took taxis to Mogan Mall, which cost around €35 each way.
We didn't use the spa, but they were offering a special price of €17 instead of the usual €35.
Although we couldn't get a late check-out, the hotel stored our luggage and allowed us to use the spa's shower facilities before we left, which was a nice touch.
The room included three complimentary bottles of water, and having a fridge was really useful.
One thing that did let the experience down wasn't the hotel itself, but some of the other guests. Late at night, particularly after 11pm, people would return to their rooms talking and shouting loudly with little consideration for those trying to sleep. Around the pool, there were also plenty of guests who left cups, plates and rubbish behind, despite there being lots of bins available. On a positive note, there were plenty of sunbeds, so there was no need for people to rush out early to reserve them.
The only real downside with the location is that there isn't much to do immediately outside the hotel, so you'll need to travel if you want to explore the area.
Overall, we had a lovely stay. The facilities, cleanliness, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff made for a very enjoyable holiday, and we'd definitely consider staying again.
Enjoyed our stay here in June. Stayed on the 7 th floor. Absolutely amazing views.
Room was cool as well.
Lifts were a bit hit and miss. One not working. So sometimes a full lift sometimes not. Stairs ok if not.
Room was clean. Not 100 % spotless but ok. Water left every day a lovely touch and most appreciated.
Food was lovely. Something for everyone. Jugs of Sangria at lunch and evening.
Snack bar ok as well but we prepared the main restaurant. Way more choice
Pool area clean and can get sunbeds after 9 30. Just watch no one takes umbrella if you go for lunch.
I can imagine pool to be very crowded peak season.
Not enough outdoor seats in the evening when we were there but I presume bring more out in peak season.
Couldn't get a late check out but do offer a shower room with a towel that you get from the reception.
Staff very helpful especially on the reception and in the restaurant.
Thank you to all for a lovely stay.
We all enjoyed.
Ps roof top pool have to pay for sunbeds
