San Agustin

No more boring and monotonous vacations! The best experience of romance and fun is in this modern complex, in the center of the San Agustín seafront. For spectacular views and unforgettable moments, there is nothing like visiting this hotel. It has a fully equipped gym to exercise properly, several areas of outdoor and indoor swimming pools that exceed the expectations of the most demanding tastes, sun baths can be taken at the edge of the pools, on the soft sand of the San Agustin beach or just using the tanning bed. Relaxation and beauty is what the conditioned spa center offers for a comforting visit. The modern rooms are ideal for frequent travelers, some of them enjoy ocean views. It has easy access transportation to visit the town and buy amenities in stores, restaurants, bars and to know a little of the local culture. The service staff always friendly and happy to help the guests.

Perfect holiday, great hotel in lovely quiet location

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks in June/July 2026. The hotel and room itself was spotless. There was a basket in the room to put your towels in should you want clean ones and the bed was always made up. We found the staff to be friendly, professional and efficient, going out of their way to make sure we had the best time. It is too hard to pick out anyone specifically as we felt very looked after, from the reception staff on checking in/out to the cleaning staff, pool team, bar staff and restaurant staff (often working a very long day from breakfast service to late night bar opening). We were always greeted by a hello and a cheery smile. The pool team worked very hard and we often saw them walking round the pool cleaning the step rails and removing the many bugs that wanted a swim too 🙂. The sun beds and surrounding area also got a wash down at the end of every day. The sunbed tag system had its ups and downs, generally it worked very well and it was nice to know you could sit in the same place every day and the pool guy did his best to find the spare beds, however as has been mentioned before, the downside of this was that lots of the tagged beds were empty for most of the day as people either went to the beach or were on a day trip. This meant that ordinarily these could have been used but because they had a tag on them you couldn't use them. We saw quite a few people who had to either sit in the pool bar area or in the gardens (which were beautiful but not where they wanted to sit) and wait for a day or two for beds to become available in their preferred area. I can imagine this could be a bit frustrating in high season when the hotel is full. This is just an observation and not a complaint. We found the food in the restaurant to be plentiful, fresh and varied - there was always something to cook on the grill, fish or meat, with the occasional theme night, lots of salad, veg, delicious cheese, fruits and desserts. We loved the omlettes at breakfast and the freshly squeezed orange juice. There appeared to be something to suit everyone. There was an A La Carte eatery where you could visit once a day and was open until late afternoon, as was the pizza hut. The evening entertainment in the main bar was very varied but the best for us was a trio call Revolution, a brilliant group who did lots of Motown and Soul, two of our favourites, they had us all up dancing and singing. The pool bar also had entertainment that was more of a relaxed vibe and a lovely end to the evening. The grounds were immaculate and provided a much needed shady spot should you need it, with lots of cabanas and sofas. At the end of the gardens, through a gate (code given at reception), is a promenade leading to the beach. Be mindful of the many rocks in the sea, directly in front of the hotel, going slightly left was much smoother. The promenade went all the way to Playa del Inglis, about 3.5 miles away. We walked it a couple of times but beware there are quite a few steps towards the end of the walk, breathtaking views but quite a way up! There is a bus stop across the road for an easier journey that runs quite frequently and is very cheap (approx 1.5 euros), as are the taxis (approx 6-8 Euros). This is where you will find more in the way of bars, shops and alternative nightlife should you want it.
We loved the short airport transfer of about half an hour and although we did have a return transfer included we decided to book a private taxi, something the hotel areanged for us, we found this very reasonable at 38 Euros. We really did not want to leave this hotel and would definitely recommend it for a quiet, relaxed and laid back holiday.

Overall nice stay

We stayed for a week as all inclusive - the food was good but the buffet served a lot of fish at lunch and dinner so if you’re not keen then it was a little disappointing. However in the day you get a fresh pizza cooked for you which were amazing and also one meal at the restaurant everyday which was nice to have as an option. The sun bed situation was a bit of a strange one, i was exited for the system of reserving a sunbed for your whole trip but it didn’t work that well. When we arrived there were only 2 sunbeds in the whole place available to reserve and they were nowhere near the pool and in the shade. For the first two days we didn’t have a sunbed as there weren’t any as they all had tags on. I think the idea is good but practically not so much as half the time the beds were reserved but no one was on them. The pool itself was good however some of the floor is flaking away and there were a few times there were a lot of bugs in the water.

The only other issue I found was that as we’re an English couple and the crowd is predominantly German, sometimes when doing the activities it wasn’t actually translated to English until I asked as the lady who was doing the activities was also German what she was saying- felt a bit dismissive.

Overall was a nice stay and a lot of different facilities that aren’t usually offered in an all inclusive. The two young ladies working at the lavazza coffee shop were lovely and very polite. The hotel cats are also very cute.

Lovely relaxing week

Lovely hotel and the indoor spa made the week! I upgraded the AI experience with Jet2 (an additional £300) supposed to be premium drinks - don’t bother upgrading the brands are all local and you get charged extra for any cocktails not on the list!! Sunbed reserving good idea but on your last day you do get other holidaymakers hoovering around your bed to jump in your space 🤣 good food and relaxed ambiance

Fantastic Hotel

We spent 11 nights at this hotel and it was wonderful. The hotel is very clean and all the staff are really friendly. Fabio, on reception booked us in and we could tell straight away that we were going to enjoy our stay. Our room was spacious and clean and our towels changed every day. The food was brilliant with plenty of choice and hot food was hot, not warm. Entertainment was great especially 3 guys called Revolution - fantastic. Vanessa did a great job with table service and was always really friendly. The pool area was well maintained with 2 pools, a jacuzzi and a pool bar. Best thing was you were given a ticket each on arrival to choose your sunbed and they were yours for your stay. There was a beautiful garden area with a gate leading to the beach. As well as the restaurant you could get freshly made pizzas, there's a coffee shop 'coffee club' and an alacarte restaurant. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday - we'll be back in the future.

Would like to know why the 6.30 dinner guest are greeted with a guard of honour from the waiting staff , and the 7.30 dinner guest get no guard of honour an the odd nod .
