During the week you can enjoy the entertainment programme and live music. The resort includes a fresh water swimming pool, a solarium-terrace and a snack bar to cool down with a drink.
The cuisine of Gran Canaria is an authentic ocean of flavours and aromas that has influences from all over the world, including a range of fruits, vegetables and fresh seafood. In the “à la carte” restaurant and exquisite buffet restaurant you'll find the best local and international recipes, with many dishes prepared using healthy ingredients.
At Playa del Inglés sun and fun accompany you all day long, with sporting activities such as jet skiing, windsurfing, sailing and much more. Close to the beach you'll find beach bars, souvenir shops, bars, restaurants and clubs where you can enjoy great beats all night long. If you want to discover the surroundings you can take a walk along the Paseo Costa Canaria coastal path, that passes through tropical flora or you can discover places such as Playa de las Burras beach, the dunes of Maspalomas, Playa de Amadores beach, Roque Nublo, the harbour of Mogán, the historical town of Agüimes and the Episcopal Palace.

Always a great hotel
Another brilliant stay at Don Miguel.
This hotel has been my 'go to' the past 4 years due to it's value for money, great breakfast, large pool (so you always get a lounger), no kids, english movies on TV and a decent room which is cleaned every day.
The pool chatter was the hotel might be closing next year (May'27) for up to two years for renovations - absolutely gutted if this is true. I get that the rooms could do with a tidy up, maybe new mattresses too and the breakfast area could be reconfigured but it's a shame we could be without this great hotel for a few years.
I'm also concerned when it reopens they will UP their prices and it no longer becomes an option for me with my budget. If the prices become Hotel Rhondo/Hotel Gold level then I'll need to find a new hotel.

The hotel is having a refurbished next year. And it needs it. Although the rooms are spotless. And im staying there again in November this year. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The chef and his team are spot on with the food. And proper bacon at breakfast. I would like to say a big thank you also to my housemaid NANCY. A beautiful person,who always made me smile.. Also not forgetting David and the team at dinner time. On a while I love this hotel. And its location to the yumbo is literally 5 mins. And 2 supermarkets and a pharmacy just on my doorstep. This is why im going with my friend next month. 5 ☆ from me.xx

A good value for money hotel.
My fifth visit to this excellent hotel. For value for money it is unbeatable in my opinion. I emailed asking for a room near the lifts which was important if you are disabled. I got exactly that. You can end up with a room a very long way from reception and the bar. Breakfast has everything you could possibly want to start the day. Yumbo nearby and Duke restaurant. The hotel is clean, the staff seem happy and are welcoming. The only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 is the abysmal elderly DJ playing what I cannot even describe as music on a couple of evenings. It’s meant to attract people to stay and drink. All he does is play and dance to his own dreadful screeching rubbish and drive people away. Sad the hotel is closing next year for refurbishment but it has been going since 1974. Thank you for another great holiday.

Clean, friendly, near to the amenities.
I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, made even better because it's adults only. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was good, and having access to a fridge was a bonus. Despite my room facing a busy road, it was surprisingly quiet, which made for a comfortable night's sleep. My only disappointments were that there was no bottle of water in the room, which I would have appreciated as I arrived quite late in the evening, and there was no kettle available to make a hot drink. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and appreciated the cleanliness, comfort and friendly service. With a few small additions to the in-room facilities, the experience would have been even better.
