Mum/Mam review
A review for the mams/mums. Lush hotel for little ones, we went with teenagers and still great but loads of activities for smaller ones. Things to take - Take pool shoes, ideally those little grip ones or at least sliders for the pool as the tiles get soooooo hot and slippy. If you can, try and take a shower mat for the shower floor as it’s super slippy too. Pool towels are available for hire. €15 per towel for the week! However you do get the money back if you remember to hand them in, when I first arrived the spa lady told me it was €2 cash to change a towel mid week when I went in however the next time I went back another lady charged me €1! A sneaky little side hustle? Rooms are great, air con and WiFi brilliant. Food is absolutely great and a great range of drinks. Location isn’t the greatest as you are a taxi ride from playa de ingles or maspolomas however really reasonable to get there. We went to the lighthouse area of maspolomas for a wander and it had the nicest shops and perfume places! Highly recommend. We managed to keep the room on till 5pm which cost €50 which was perfect however felt for the people that couldn’t keep their room as it makes a late flight a long day. Plenty of sun loungers, plenty of food and 10/10 for accommodation. Jumbo centre was rotten, a horrible area full of inappropriate shops, adverts and establishments for children … so unless that floats your boat I’d make that an adult only trip unless you want to clarify what leather pants, intimate massages, grind bars and sparkly will*es for sale could mean to little ones 😂🫣
Absolutely brilliant holiday. No negatives at all.
We came as a family of 4 adults, a 3 year old and 12 year old. A great resort for families. Everywhere very clean and tidy. Accommodation really lovely and housekeeping staff very efficient and friendly. Food choices were exceptional. Staff in all areas were helpful and friendly and I honestly don’t have any negative comments to make - as everyone and everything was great.
HD Parque Cristobal - Spot on!
This is a wonderful complex, so well laid out, clean, great facilities and friendly and professional staff all round. It is primarily a family based hotel, so bear that in mind if you are travelling without kids, although it is neither noisy or out of control! The bungalows are terrific, best accommodation we've been in for a good few years. We went half board which was perfect for us. Food is terrific, with loads of options. If returning to Gran Canaria we wouldn't hesitate in booking again.
