The complex is kept very clean the little bungalows are clean every day bed linen changed every 3 day also towels every day plenty for children to do very peace full enjoyed it so much taking our son and daughter in law and two grandchildren next year

Great family complex with excellent food.
Great family complex, especially for younger children.
We stayed at HD parque Cristóbal for 7 days with our 2 boys aged 11 and 14. The 2 bedroom bungalow we stayed in was comfortable, clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The only slight negative in relation to the accommodation was that some attention to door frames and skirting would help smarten it up even more, as in places they seemed a little grubby and in need of refreshing. However, this in no way affected our stay.
The complex itself is brilliant! We loved the residential feel to the place and really enjoyed stepping out to lawned spacious areas. It appeared very safe for children as it was all enclosed. We stayed around the main pool, but there is also a children’s splash pool area which looked great for younger children.
The whole place was very clean and tidy and the staff were always working very hard.
The food was exceptional. As a family we all agreed that the food was a real standout feature of this holiday. There were always different options and it was very easy to find something you’d enjoy.
The location is good but it’s a bit of a walk to the beach (around 20 minutes). I read that there is a free bus to Maspalomas beach but we never used it as we only went to the beach on one day. The Aqua Park is close by and only cost 8 euro for a taxi to get there and 8 euro back. I would recommend going if you have children as it’s a great day out. The Yumbo centre is very close by and is okay for shopping but generally most places sell the same stuff. Please bear in mind that the whole area and the Yumbo centre in particular is gay friendly.
The entertainment was okay. It was great for children but the evening entertainment was a bit hit and miss for adults.
Overall this was a great family holiday, really good value for money and I’d certainly recommend it.

Wonderful hotel!
Absolutely loved our holiday at this family hotel! Loved the layout of bungalows instead of your usual high rise apartments. Could always find something to eat at meal times and the whole place is super clean. The staff work so hard, from the gardeners, the staff in the restaurants, the cleaners, the reception team and a special mention to the entertainment team; in particular Fabio and Eric - from pool activities during the day to fantastic evening entertainment, as a family we loved it all! Would definitely return to this wonderful hotel!
What a holiday, would definitely recommend!
Such a lovely holiday! Two adults and a 15 year old. Everything was fabulous- accommodation, food, staff friendly, efficient full of energy at the poolside We can't wait to revisit. Lots of highlights - gym, pools, availability of loungers etc. A shout out to Marco and the team at the Trattoria- amazing starters and pizzas. Well done HD Parc Cristobel!
Our only downside was with Jet 2 and the transfer experience. Our plane was delayed 90 mins - which happens, however, we had a 45 minute wait for the bus and then we were stop 8 out of 9. We sre still in resort so hotel are booking a taxi transfer back which will take 15 minutes instead of an hour.
Our fourth stay – and already planning the next one!
We have just returned from our fourth stay at HD Parque Cristóbal Gran Canaria and once again we have had the most wonderful holiday. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we are already talking about coming back next year and possibly extending our usual two week stay to three weeks! 😊
What makes Parque Cristóbal so special for us is the people. From the moment we arrive, we always feel so welcomed and looked after. The housekeeping team, reception staff, restaurant and bar staff are all so friendly, helpful and hardworking. Nothing ever seems too much trouble and their warmth is a huge part of why we keep coming back.
I also wanted to mention Eva, the Guest Experience Manager. During our stay I noticed her regularly walking around the complex, taking everything in, interacting with staff and paying attention to the little details. As a teacher, I have very high expectations myself and always want the children I teach to achieve their full potential, so I really appreciated seeing someone who clearly has the same attention to detail and high standards in her own role. It was lovely to see how much she cares about both the resort and the team working within it.
The atmosphere at Parque Cristóbal is fantastic. It genuinely feels like somewhere you can relax, feel comfortable and enjoy your holiday without having to worry about anything.
Four visits probably say more than anything I could write, but we really wouldn't keep coming back if we didn't love it here.
