A jewel
This is a Jewel of a hotel in a great setting close to a beach and a nice bar and shopping area. 4* is warranted but one or two tweaks required to make it a bit more special. Very clean and rooms etc are good. Food is very good no problems in that area as there was always something we liked and especially fish. The tweaks needed lie in the all inclusive packages. All inclusive is a basic package and fine if you are happy with the majority of drinks not being international brands.
If you pay for All inclusive plus not all international brands are inclusive and you pay extra for those which I think is unfair as you have upgraded for that reason. Smoothies etc not included which seems bizarre when you can get alcohol but not a smoothie. Some meals in the à la carte restaurant also have to be paid for too and I couldn’t work out why🤔.
This apart as an adults only hotel in a great location I would go again. I spoke to customer services and they listened and were great about it and say they take things on board so let’s see. A great chill out holiday good staff and food and a lovely atmosphere, if you go enjoy ☺️

Nice hotel, food a let down
Firstly the positives, the hotel is in a great location. Close to the beach, bars and restaurants. We had a deluxe, sea view room, which was clean and spacious. Staff were attentive and service on the whole was good. The entertainment was ok, but it’s a strange layout to be able to watch it. Now for the negatives… Before we arrived I had emailed explaining we had a vegan in our party, and I asked if they would be accommodated for meals etc. I had a reply saying that there would be no problem and to let check in know. To cut a long story short, there was nothing apart from vegetables and salad, so she was not accommodated as stated. I complained at the front desk, but nothing changed. The food is repetitive and limited, for a week it was acceptable but I couldn’t do longer than that. The pool area is kept clean, and ok, but it’s cramped. We tried to book the al a carte restaurant, but it was fully booked 2 weeks in advance! It doesn’t seem to be open regularly, hence unable to get a reservation. Be aware that as the location of the hotel is great, it is noisy and lively at night, but that wasn’t a problem for us, but it might be for others. We had a good holiday, and I would return, but maybe not all inclusive as there are so many places to eat and drink outside the hotel, and the hotels buffet lets it down.

I've given 4 **** but will not be returning
Positives on this holiday...amazing staff,too many to mention but 3 stand outs were Diago, lady with orange glasses and Carolina ,all restaurant staff and the legend Vince on reception Our room ,Seaview was beautiful especially at sunrise Public areas,especially toilets were spotless and always had soap etc House keepers amazing too Main reason we won't return is the many different types of guest packages... We were all inclusive but priority for sunloungers ,breakfast and table reservations was for Unique guests and for guests on day passes who weren't staying at hotel. We paid a lot of money but felt inferior My main grumble is that I have gluten intolerance which hotel were aware of since my booking and the food was not labelled at buffet so I had to preorder the day before which really took away any spontaneity If food was labelled then I could have had freedom to choose and less of a problem for busy staff On day 8 out of our 11 night stay I was offered gluten free toast for breakfast My husband said all buffet food was lukewarm and did not look appetising, often congealed on top Evening entertainment very lacking Weekends a so-called DJ playing music So sadly despite positives and great location for seafront we will not be returning So we will not be returning

Stay away
This place is awful. The rooms are dated and worn out. The AC did not work the last four nights of our trip. You are lucky to get two threadbare towels in your room. The sink blasts water. The only positive thing I have to say is food at breakfast buffet is decent. Paid 200 euro a night, I wouldn't stay here if it was free or they paid me.
What a fantastic hotel
Our experience at this hotel was fantastic. In comparison to the other local 5* Lopsan hotels this is up there on par.
We stayed, all inclusive plus, and unique. Our room was absolutely beautiful, stunning views and kept immaculate during our stay. All staff including front of house, restaurant and bar were friendly and made our stay really enjoyable.
We wouldn't usually stay in playa de ingles, however we were pleasantly surprised. Buses are so easy to use to get along the coast to Mogan, Anfi and Peurto rico we dined out in Meloneras which is a 10 min bus ride away. We caught the bus back to the airport as it was just as easy as a taxi!.
We are a couple who are 40, enjoy restaurants, bars, and a nice view. The hotel provided just that. Food was definitely just as good as other 5* Lopsan hotels. The unique experience was lovely. Fresh breakfast made to order daily.
I would absolutely stay here again!! The area along the beachfront isn't as upmarket as other areas of the island, however as a base the hotel delivers 5* experience and can not in anyway be faulted. Evening entertainment was also brilliant, the bar has such a great vibe!.
Thank you for a lovely week ! We shall certainly return next year.
