This amazingly hotel is situated on a central location on the famous Playa del Inglés, in the southern part of Gran Canaria. The airport is conveniently just about 2 km car ride away from the complex. The hotel offers rooms that come equipped with cosy beds and all the necessary amenities they need to have the best experience. For travellers comfort, the rooms are decorated to make them feel welcomed and comfortable. Diving into the pool, sunbathing, relaxing under the shadow of an umbrella or going to the beach are just a few things guests will have the pleasure to experience. Abora Catarina 2026 family holuday
Location great most things within walking distance. Hotel room fair size, bathroom needs updated. Worn and mouldy. Reported any infestation on balcony 2nd last day still waiting on someone attending to this. Stayed at room 340. Communicated multiple times before and during requesting to pay to keep on room without success. However other parties on this day permitted. Hotel is clean Building shades sun in many areas. Sun didn’t get out to around 12 At main pool. Pools don’t open till 10am so chilled and relaxed to get sunbeds. Food usual all inclusive standard. Not all drinks included with all inclusive additional charges for basic cocktails ie daiquiri.

Animation team fantastic good shows of an evening plenty of entertainment tho out the day with ania ana tayka javi jzan ocsar alejandro & lucia all participating wether water aerobics to darts & table tennis! All staff very friendly & bend over backwards to help you! Bar staff always happy to have a joke while serving us!

Amazing resort, spectacular entertainment team!
We stayed at Abora Catarina for 10 nights in September/October and would 100% return for a future holiday. The hotel was clean, huge and had plenty of amenities including 24/7 self serve wine and beer, all inclusive food which was great - usual all inclusive type food with special nights, we loved the Mexican night.
The hotel was a 5 minute walk from a bus stop which takes you everywhere around Gran Canaria, from the Maspolomas dunes and a small shopping centre. Around a 15 minute walk was the Yumba centre with shops, restaurants and mini golf, also a 5 minute taxi and taxis are so cheap as they are Government owned.
Our favourite thing about the holiday was the entertainment - the team were absolutely amazing, so funny and engaging. They all made an effort to learn our names and a bit about us and always invited us to join in. Everyday except Mondays there was an activity based in the water (aqua gym or dance), a tournament (table tennis, darts, shuffleboard etc) and a poolside game. There was bingo every day with prizes too.
Most nights there was a show put on by the entertainment team and they were all great. The other nights the entertainment was a bit poor other than the live music but we just used those nights to have some drinks and go out.
All in all, our holiday was brilliant and we would definitely return in a heartbeat. Even though we came as a couple, the resort was really family friendly and we would return with family too.
