Lopesan Villa del Conde Resort and Thalasso

A beautiful hotel with amenities commensurate with its deserved 5 Star rating. Rooms are spacious and well appointed with a high standard of cleanliness maintained by dedicated and friendly housekeeping staff. The grounds are beautifully manicured and cared for, meaning you are sunbathing by one of the numerous pools surrounded by natural greenery and landscaped gardens. Dining in the main restaurant is a buffet style self-service experience where the choice, variety and quality of food is superb and easily caters for all tastes and dietary needs; an experience made even more enjoyable by the friendly staff attending your table or the chefs preparing some of the dishes at the various food stations. Noise was never an issue. The location of the hotel meant street noise was minimal and, on the hotel grounds, we chose the quiet pool away from the daily activities organised by the hotel's animation team. Overall an outstanding hotel where the friendly staffs from Reception, Catering, Housekeeping to the Gardeners were all dedicated in ensuring your comfort and relaxation and, as a result, heightened our holiday experience. Outstanding!

Location :- Brilliant. The hotel commands a terrific spot on the Atlantic coast. The hotel is on many levels making the most of the views. I love that I can get anywhere within the grounds without using a lift. When we go out my husband and I either meander along the prom or just sit and watch the sun go down enjoying the sound of the waves lapping on the rocks below. Very relaxing. Atmosphere:- Again Brilliant. We come here because we can completely relax. We stay around the quiet pool which means no noise is allowed which means napping 😴 is easy 😂 There is waiter service which is great as we love our Ice chocola snack in the afternoon. Bliss 😀😀😀 There are also many sunloungers and umbrellas so getting to sit around the pool is not a problem. The Rooms:- The room we have, we have asked for (not available every time) it’s a great room on the ground floor so I do not need to use any of the lifts. It has a separate shower so It meets all my needs. The roomed cleaned everyday. What more do you need 👍😀 Value :- this is not the cheapest hotel however the value aspect is having great staff, good food and accommodation. We have been coming here for many years and know we will have a great holiday. We also get a great reception from some of the staff that remember us. Love it 🩷 I count value not in money but memories. Noise level:- always kept at a decent level. There are no noises after 12am. What more do you want. To sum up:- the Villa Del Conde is the best holiday hotel as it meets both our needs. We even booked up for next year before we came home from this one!
