The facilities here at H10 Playa Meloneras Palace are second to none, most notably a large outdoor infinity swimming pool which overlooks the crystal clear blue waves of the ocean, as well as another 2 separate outdoor swimming pools and a children's pool, you will be spoilt for choice to find your spot to soak up the sun of the Canaries. The hotel's on-site Spa is sure to provide full relaxation during your stay, with an abundance of treatments available. Being spoilt for choice seems to be a regular occurrence here, with a variety of restaurants and bars to dine at, including a snack bar beside the pool, which offer delicious cuisine.

Great!
We had a fabulous stay at this hotel! Some proper luxury and relaxation, and we’d definitely come back. Highlights for us included the food (the Japanese restaurant was an amazing experience), the drinks, the pools and the service - all were outstanding.
We would definitely give 5 stars for the overall experience, but we have just a few small points for improvement that I hope the hotel takes on board:
- we stayed here for our honeymoon and the hotel was aware of this because the man on reception wished us a happy honeymoon, but there was absolutely no acknowledgement or little extras besides this, which was a little disappointing considering the price point.
- the room was cleaned every day and the housekeeping team are lovely, but unfortunately our bathroom was dirty when we arrived (particularly the bidet, which is obviously quite grim)
- the food is just wonderful, and this is a small thing, but unfortunately the juices at breakfast are very poor quality and watered down, particularly the orange juice which was awful. I was surprised at this considering the quality of everything else.
- we paid quite a lot extra for a sea view room. We did have a sea view (in the distance), but it wasn’t great and our view was mainly taken up by the children’s play area. We regretted paying the extra money and felt quite short changed.
- we were disappointed that the all inclusive ended at 12pm the day of checkout. We arrived to the hotel late at night, so missed out on a day of all inclusive then, and weren’t picked up until 6pm on our departure day. The drinks are expensive if you’re not on all inclusive, so again we felt short changed (but appreciated the lunch vouchers).
These small gripes didn’t detract from a brilliant holiday and we do hope that management pay some attention to them. We look forward to returning in the future!
A huge H10
A very big 5 star H10 in Gran Canaria.
We opted for half board in the privilege section of the hotel. Room 469 is next door to the lounge which is open from 10am until 8pm were you can serve yourself with drinks ranging from spirits through wines beers, including a pour your own beer from a tap down to soft drinks and water. Snacks available and at certain times you get fruits and sandwiches delivered by a very hard working lady to your recliner by the infinity pool.
5 great restaurants to choose from with a special mention for the Gaudi restaurant who have the nicest staff and professional service. The food available for breakfast and dinner is world class.
70th Birthday Meloneras H10
Hotel was superb and great location for sea views, staff were engaging and extremely friendly. Buffet restaurant was well set out and food selection very good and all nice quality. The whole experience was fantastic 👏
Abundance of space
We spent a week all inclusive as a family of 5 adults. This was a second visit for two of us and it didn’t disappoint. The reasons we returned were: loads of sunbeds around the pools and no one does that awful thing of reserving sunbeds with towels early in the morning, the food is excellent, lots of fresh salads and fruit and a good variety of meat, fish, etc, the rooms are spacious and clean with a mini fridge top-up every other day. There are plenty of staff in the bars so it’s very easy to get a drink. They’ve added a padle court which we used twice. We would highly recommend the Japanese restaurant as an experience, the food was excellent and the chef cooks it all right in front of you. The location is great, there’s a 30 minute walk along the sea front to the town & main beach. The only reason we haven’t given 5 stars is on a couple of occasions at lunch in the outside area, the staff had started preparing tables for dinner and were reluctant to seat us. As a family of 5 we needed a bigger table and there weren’t many. On one occasion we were told ‘no, sit inside’ which we declined and were eventually seated. This was around 2 o’clock with still an hour left for lunch service. We also saw this happen to other larger families. However it would not stop me from rebooking. My son said he thought the meal timings were aimed towards people who liked to eat earlier, by 9.30pm most people had left the main restaurant. We didn’t watch any of the evening entertainment but there was a fantastic magician who did a couple of card tricks whilst we were having a pre dinner drink. The pool bar closes promptly at 6 o’clock, a little early for us. We had a great holiday and would look at returning next year.The main highlights are the food and the space around the pools.

First time to Gran Canaria for me - lovely
Lovely hotel with very good service. It was our 1st time to Gran Canaria previously have been to Tenerife. Hotel in a great location, the only disappointing thing was the length of time the transfer from the airport to our hotel took - 2 hours very disappointing, appreciated that this was delivered by Jet 2. Return transfer was only 40 mins
