Located in the Campo Internacional de Maspalomas resort, this hotel is close to a number of shops, restaurants, bars and clubs. Links to the public transportation can be found on the hotel's doorstep and the Oasis Meloneras shopping centre and the beach of Maspalomas are a short walk away. Facilities include a lobby with 24-hour reception, currency exchange, cloakroom, lift access and a newsstand, a bar, a nightclub, a breakfast/dining room, kids' club, Internet access, room service, a car park and, for an additional fee, a laundry service and bicycle hire service.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
There were small bugs in the furniture (just point the cell phone flash light at them during the night) and cockroaches in the floor. There is no way of controlling the AC temperature on the room, a technician needs to come to your room to change it. The cleaning was not the best and there was humidity on the bathroom. The wi fi sign was poor inside the room.
The room was spacious, the beds comfortable, good water pressure in the shower and the room was always clean and towels replaced which was appreciated. Also, really appreciated the air conditioning. It was disappointing that the WiFi in the room was completely useless. We couldn’t get WiFi unless we were in the communal area near the pool/restaurant. It wasn’t an issue for me as I have unlimited data on my phone but I had to buy a data add on for my daughter because a teenager with no internet is not a good combination! The food was fine, nothing exceptional but always a reasonable choice. The downside was poor service when it came to getting a drink at dinner. Only two nights out of seven was I offered a drink. The other five nights I had finished eating before anyone was even visible to try and get an order in. Also, they removed the water machine for the evening service and given the poor service in the evening we had to take our own bottled water to dinner every night otherwise we would have had nothing!! The pool was nice, however, if you want to relax in peace then this isn’t the place to do it as they are playing loud music from 10am until 6pm every day. There’s a no inflatables rule in the pool so if you like to float around you can’t. The pool closes at 18.30h which in my opinion is too early. It was still 30 degrees at this time and I still wanted to cool off. The atmosphere around the pool was nice though. The Gym doesn’t open until 9am!! I wanted to work out before breakfast as it was too hot after and the gym is not air conditioned but couldn’t. I asked for a late check out and was accommodated, which was appreciated. The free bus too and from the beach was very good and the beach was much more relaxing, as noise was less. The beach felt very safe and clean. The sea was shallow for a long way out when tide was out a bit and was perfect for swimming.
Four of us stayed in a 2 bedrooms suite, which was very nice and spacious. The location was perfect inside the area of the hotel as it was close to the pool but not too close to others. The area of the hotel looks like a paradise, so we could spend all our time just there, especially as the staff is very friendly and there are animations, events all the time. We were however exploring the nearby beach and the island itself during our one week stay. The foods are very good, we enjoyed the dinners mostly as they were very varied.
Great place for a family holiday! The splash zone is perfect for children. Food is very good. The only point of improvement is extra staff at the poolbar, so the line to get a drink will be shorter. Otherwise perfect!
