It is within walking distance of the beach, and guests can find in the area a wide variety of bars, pubs and local restaurants and shops and malls. San Fernando is located about 8 km. away
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We have just come back from a week staying at Monte Feliz, and I can say we have a had a wonderful time! From the moment we arrived which was quite late on but we able to get into the restaurant to eat which was a nice touch. There are so many activities available here but with no pressure to do anything, if you want to spend the whole time laying by the pool then you can, we made use of the gym daily, stretch classes in the morning and yoga in the late afternoon. Had a sports massage from Yolanda, which got rid of so many knots in my back. We also hired a coupe of Kayaks which for 10 euros an hour per kayak I thought was very well priced. The food available is very varied and we didn't have to queue at anytime we went to eat. All the staff were so helpful and friendly and the hotel itself is one of the cleanest we've ever stayed in. I feel the biggest shout has to go to David the lifeguard who is super friendly and makes time to have conversations with everyone and is always on hand to help with parasols and loungers.. he is a massive credit to the hotel!
Very Modern and well maintained hotel only a 15 minute transfer from the airport. The staff were very friendly and welcoming on our arrival and throughout our stay. Shout out to the young man who manned the bar alone during many busy World Cup evenings and the very diligent lifeguard at the pool who was always welcoming with a smile and a wave and happy to help in any way. Our apartment was well designed with all the conveniences required for a self catering holiday. It was clean and modern with a lovely balcony to watch the sunset in the evening as it dipped below the hills. The food was great. We only ate off the menu at lunchtimes as we were self catering but it was always freshly cooked, hot, quick and very tasty. The hotel itself was a short walk from the beach, local shops, restaurants and supermarket. In all this hotel offered great staff, great facilities and at an excellent price. Personally can’t fault them.
Really modern hotel, as a solo traveller it was almost perfect, my room was amazing with a mini kitchen and sofa area, fantastic bathroom, and the room was cleaned everyday. The hotel staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful, I speak Spanish so didnt need to communicate in English but I heard all the staff regularly trying to speak English to create a welcoming environment for all travellers. Special shout out goes to David the lifeguard who makes it his priority to welcome you and hold conversations to make you feel at ease around the pool and build a great atmosphere, he presented excellent customer service. The facilities I used were mainly the pool and the gym, which were both very well maintained but just across the street you can book classes for a range of sports/activities. The buffet offered a range of options that were always pleasant. One negative was the fact all inclusive only included the salad bar at lunch time, if you wanted something else you had to pay from the menu. Drinks were also only part of the all inclusive during meal hours which meant outside of that you had to pay normally. To be honest this should be documented before as I’m sure I wouldn’t have chosen this option if I had known. The location is a short walk away from the beach although it isn’t a beach you can go sunbathing at or swimming, it’s very rocky there is a little area to sit down at and admire the view but that’s all. There were aquatic activities during the day which were fun but no night time entertainment at all, so once you have dinner it can be quite boring. It’s good value for money based on what they lack in some cases they make up for with what they have. Overall, a really good experience, highly recommend visiting if you’re looking for a chilled holiday by the pool or looking to do some sports.
We had a fantastic week at Monte Feliz. The padel training sessions with the skilled and dedicated coach Laurent Dairiam were excellent. We learned a lot and truly enjoyed every lesson. We would happily come back again.
The hotel staff were also very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Food and drinks deserve top marks as well. Highly recommended!
We came mainly for the padel training, and Laurent was the best coach super fun, motivating, and professional. We had an amazing stay overall and really enjoyed the atmosphere and hospitality. Definitely coming back again soon!
