This great beach hotel, built in 2003, is very nicely located in the tourist centre of Amadores, it is approximately 1 km from the local sandy beach and its crystal clear waters. The local promenade is a great place where guests will find a variety of leisure possibilities. Convenient public transport links are very close to the hotel. Numerous boutiques and shops, restaurants and a wide range of bars can be found in the surroundings. This is a lively place to spend active holidays by the sea.

Cannot really fault this hotel at all. Great facilities, friendly staff, good location and clean rooms. Rooms were cleaned every day to a very good standard. Two bottles of water were left every day which was a nice touch.
Only gripe I have and as another poster said would be nice to have British/Irish sausages and bacon at breakfast.
Overall excellent stay and will be back

Fourth year in a row coming here in a pool room all inclusive, we are here now, we have LOVED this place, but the love affair is well and truly over! It’s all rules rules rules! Every year we have taken closed bottles of soft drink/beers to our room to put in our fridge and a bottle of wine to enjoy in the evening. Not this year, anything to be taken to rooms must be in paper cups! So we are now expected to take paper cups to a room with a pool (that we’ve paid a premium for) in lift upon lift (there’s only two working) so we can have a drink? We don’t even drink that much 😔 Ah but it’s a glass thing I hear you say!? Nope! It’s clearly a money thing, there are glasses in the room and the cleaner leaves glass bottles of water every morning. Total nonsense. We have cancelled our booking for next year, yes we lost our deposit, but we need to go where we feel we are really on holiday! We know this is pretty standard AI protocol, but there are loads of places we could go for cheaper and accept this is “just the way” but we’ve been very used to the standard GP way being something very special! If you’re not in a pool room you’ll probably still love it btw. Thanks for the memories GP, but we won’t be back 😢

Glorious holiday
Following my wife having a stroke we had not been abroad since. We decided that Gloria Palace had always been helpful in the past so we would try a holiday with yourselves and we were not disappointed. Again a lovely hotel and staff who went above and beyond to help us. Chair to assist entry into the pool was a welcome bonus which made my wife really happy being able to enter the pool which she loves. Food was lovely as usual and in all we cant wait to return tothis wonderful place for another relaxing holiday.

Big clean seaview room,no working fridge, polite helpful staff just not enough of them. Dining big noisy area unless outside on the terrace, don't leave the table unattended the pigeons steal you food. We were HB didn't realise you got charged for every bottle of water at the table, check your bill before paying we were charged with glasses and bottles of wine we didn't have. Paid before checking so didn't get any refund. Difficulty id it's all put into the staff iPads you don't get a receipt unless you ask for one, we just trusted the staff. Departure smooth

Solo traveller
Location is excellent 10mins walk left to Puerto Rico and 10mins right to Amadores. Rooms are beautiful with stunning sea view from the balcony. All the staff are exceptional they work extremely hard to give customers the best experience, the staff I came across and for me need to mention are Alexander, Monica and Angelica in the Salon Bar. Thank you once again Gloria Palace Amadores for my wonderful holiday.
