Great location, lovely pools, friendly staff.
I am just back from a week at this fabulous hotel. The location is ideal, practically on the beach and very close to shops and restaurants. Morro Jable town itself is a very pleasant walk away. The pools are lovely and no issues getting sunbeds. There was always something going on if you want to join in but not so intrusive as to spoil a relaxing holiday. The animation team worked very hard and special thanks to Daniel who was brilliant with the children. If you want 5 star luxury then you should expect to pay for it. The Altamarena offers excellent value for money in my opinion.
Great Family Hotel
Myself and my 7yr son stayed here from the 12th August for 1 week. I was slightly apprehensive because of some reviews. But I was pleasantly surprised. Yes the hotel is needing a bit of moderation but everything that matters is there. The pools are brilliant 😁 We were in them every day. The food was better than anticipated with fresh chicken/steak or other meats and fish fried fresh not to mention the large selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, other pasta and meat and fish dishes. Lots of fresh ice cream for the wee one too. The entertainment team were amazing 😍 My son loved the young guy..He was so fun and even stopped outside to speak to us whilst we were waiting on our lift to the airport. The setting is idyllic, the team are warm and friendly, the rooms are spotless, drinks & food were good and the location and the pool scene are No.1 🥳 Will definitely be back xxx
More like a 2 star hotel
Room nit ready on arrival. Receptionist so rude was shouting at us and not being helpful, said “ her job was to give out information “ sorry not acceptable ! Food was bland, tinned and hardly any choice. Staff unfriendly didn’t even see a housekeeper. Had a room on the street side, very dated, furniture all chipped and no bath plug. Shower rail just fell down. The nightclub opposite the hotel was loud and still played music at 3am then you heard all the people leaving shouting / screaming. Coaches beeping horns and bin lorries early morning. If you want to relax at this hotel go to the beach where it is quiet !! This hotel should never be rated a 4 star and if I was Tui I would embarrrassed to even sell rooms to this hotel. Shocking holiday would never come back here

Worst all inclusive in Jandía
How this hotel is 4 star is a mystery. We came from 2 nights in the occidental Jandia mar which was a great hotel to try this hotel as it’s close to the beach. It was the same price but the experience was opposite end of the scales. The hotel is at best a 2 star the food at the buffet and snack bar is the worst I’ve seen in an all inclusive. The atmosphere in the hotel is terrible and the rooms are like a hostel. Couldn’t wait to leave save your money
