My review is only of the experience we have had deciding to upgrade to star prestige and not with regard to the hotel or facilities given to everyone. We decided before arriving to upgrade to a suite in Star Prestige as we thought we would benefit from being near the extra facilities offered and enjoy the whole adults only experience. We had been here to celebrate our anniversary and a special mile stone. After paying an extra 730€ we were taken to our room, first view is of a gravelled area and horizon of the sea not the full sea view offered in their description of the room. We were also based on 3rd floor at the far side of the hotel away from Star Prestige, meaning a good trek to use the facilities we paid for. The room we had been given had been what the hotel describes online as a senior suite with no prestige entitlement. Which is good if this is what you decided to choose. Once we realised our location i went to reception 4 times, one of these I spoke to a very rude member of staff who thought it was ok to raise her had and say STOP when I wanted to speak about the room. We then met a member of the management team who was lovely, understood the situation and straight away. Told us she would send bottle wine to the room this never arrived and not the compensation you expect and then realising through the night and early morning they had put you in a family area, due to children running against the adjoining room door at 7am, not what we had paid extra to be in an adult area. My text is to warn about upgrading as they do not offer all upgrades to the prestige area but happy to take the extra money this costs. We feel let down, promises never fulfilled and conned of what should have been a restful and happy time.

Best hotel in Fuerteventura
If I could give this hotel 10 stars I would. Location is direct access to a safe, clean and stunning beach. Food is lovely with ample healthy options catering for all tastes. Staff are the friendliest and hardest working team I’ve came across in all my years of travelling. The animation team work round the clock with no end to daily activities for both kids and adults. Small touches such as the kitchen team & housekeeping going round all at the pool with ice lollies & drinks served straight to your sunlounger! Always a presence of what appears to be management whole look like a friendly bunch to. Would highly recommended this hotel and will definitely be back. We have been to Fuerteventura at least 10 times. Amazing and thank you for your hard work.

Cocktail experience
TOTALLY BRILLIANT EXPERIENCE
Pleasantly surprised
First family hotel holiday for a long time preferring villa type holidays but with grandkids getting older decided on an all inclusive hotel instead. Travelled as a family of 8. Grandparents, sons and families inc an 11 year old, a 13 and a 16 year old. Hotel looked to be the ideal choice and it was. First of all have to compliment the staff, most helpful of anywhere we have ever been. Reception, bar, waiting, chefs, housekeeping all amazing. Food normally all inc is a bit hit and miss but was perfect here, tasty, great choice at every meal. Animation staff probably best anywhere we have been. Entertainment varied and enjoyable every evening. Thought at first pools could have been a bit bigger but were never too busy and loads of sunbeds. Of course there are always those who leave towels on the beds but it’s a case of doing the same or missing out on best position and a guarantee of all of us getting beds together. Beach fantastic, think you would have to be careful with the waves if you have young kids.
Only got one negative. The rooms are a bit dated. We had three doubles and one family room. All of our family were impressed with their rooms but we, the grandparents, thought they were a bit dated, like something out the 80s and def need updating. That really is the only negative. Like I say not usually my type of holiday and wasn’t that enthusiastic about it but I was wrong.
Great Place
Second visit to this hotel. Food always good, rooms good. Facilities good. We go star prestige. Love this place!
