Allowing smokers to smoke around the children’s pool area is wild no signs nothing that would stop them and even having vases where to throw cigarette buds and public relations lady said it was ok basically encouraging this behaviour . One guy even came from the adult pools to smoke in the kids area… Pool lifeguards useless and can’t even speak english
This is our 4th visit and had it been our first we would not have returned. The hotel is going down the hill.We encountered many issues ,first the room ,that was changed on the day after our arrival after 3 in the afternoon!!!!and thanks to the intervention of public relations Evelina ,she is a fantastic professional and a member of the staff that the hotel should treasure. Many members of staff in the restaurants can not speak Spanish,German or English...what makes communication difficult. I missed more Spanish dishes ,loads of African,Moroccan influences in the kitchen. We met a lady who fell and scrap her knee and foot(could not get to the water for 3 days as she needed antibiotics...)when attempting to play volleyball because the installation was not accordingly care for ,was lacking in sand...so either should have been shut or posters advising people to take extra care should have been put up..... There's now just 1 restaurant serving full meals, before there were 2 . I preferred how it was before. Now there are 2 offering snacks from 11 to 5.30. The essencia area is not as it used to be .... Staff generally need to be trained on how to offer a better customer service with exceptions of course ,and these mainly were Spaniards. I don't know if I will ever return...or if saving myself the travelling time and find a different hotel closer to the airport. The magic that the hotel offered years ago is not there now ,what is sad! Some other clients who had visited the hotel in other occasions before, agreed with me.
The hotel was absolutely beautiful. I went for 1 week mid at the beginning of july, spent 3 days solo and 4 days woth family. My first 3 days were incredibly comfortable, the room was beautiful, no complaints. The bed was so comfy, shower was perfect. Facilities in the room were brilliant. The cleaning staff came everyday and did a fab job, I had to leave them a tip for their hard work in the extreme heat. I spent time around the pools, had a walk around staff were polite and helpful. The bars were stocked and staff ready to help and easy to talk to. I tried to talk in Spanish a little to try and make an effort in their own language with the help of google translate. The restaurants, oh my good god, overwhelming with how much was on offer. I was able to try different foods and always found something to eat, they catered for gluten free, lactose intolerance, wheat free, vegetarian, & vegan. Great meals for both adults and children. All fresh foods made in front of you. The pools could be busy with children but there was a small adult only pool to get away from the hustle and bustle and splashing around. A couple of pools were heated even during the summer heat. The pools and the loungers were well maintained and cleaned daily. They all had lifeguards that walked around smiling and talking to guests too. The beach was beautiful, wow the colours of the sea were incredible! Soft white sand with loungers, literally right outside the gate, less that 1 minute walk. At night where we're live bands, and entertainment, but unfortunately alot of football on. Which is good for thoes who follow football but not for those who dont. There were places to go to get away from the football though. My family had a wonderful time too, they are really pleased with their room and all the facilities of the hotel too. The one complaint from them is that their cleaner would knock on the door and then just walk into the room even when 'do not disturb' sign was on the door. Which was very intrusive especially as my sister was on the toilet and my mum was in a towel. So that isnt exactly ok, We didn't like that. Thats the one only complaint from the whole holiday. I would 100% go back to stay again and recommended it to anyone especially with children.
Amazing hotel, great food, friendly staff and overall lovely holiday. We had two rooms (divided with an accessible door). There is a separate pool, jacuzzi and bar for adults only which we used mainly as we were all adults. Beach area right outside of the hotel. Would highly recommend for families with children or without.
So I was very suprised to see a poor review for this hotel from people who were there yesterday as we were also there yesterday and our experience was completely different. Firstly the food the chice was absolutely amazing in bth the food market and the snack bar. There was something for every one all super fresh and a lot cooked infront of you. It was amazing one of the best food offers we had seen. The hotel is well maintained and spotlessly clean. There is lots to do and plenty of enteratinmnt and activities. The staff were lovely and very engaging. Honestly the best holiday we haver ever had. Can not recommend highly enough.
