Pool area was nice, great location for the beach and hotel was huge. Food wasn't great, most of the staff were really unfriendly and facilities need improving. Location-wise, if you are looking for a variety of places to go out to eat, this is not the resort for you, as there are a small handful of restaurants within a 10 minute walk.
When booking the room, I ordered a room with an ocean view, which is what I paid for, I was expecting a view, right on the ocean, but I received a room with a side view outside the hotel, with a view of all the dirt outside the hotel, trash cans and strange smells, a disaster.
Check in was easy although when explaining the hotel set up the ground floor was the 6th floor and the top floor was the 1st floor. Rooms were good, cleaner comes in very day. You will need to be up early every day to get a sunbed. The guests are mainly 90% German. They cater for them and not the British. For example there is a cinema room that houses the kids club. When Germany played they showed the match in there. They did the same for the French and Spanish. There was nowhere to watch England and when i asked reception they said watch it in your room (which didn't have any working English channels). Food was good and always a good selection. Drinks were okayish. It is a 40 minute walk to the nearest supermarket. Nothing to do outside the complex. We spent most days on the beach was at the next hotel. Would not return because of it's remoteness and lack of set up for the English, but if you want a cheap relaxing holiday then it would be okay.
it’s a nice hotel, lovely and clean, rooms are big, it’s very clean. but a bit jaded.
the views are outstanding and very close to the beach.
the biggest downside is the food, it’s bland & boring and the same everyday. everything revolves around pork. the vegetables are from frozen or tinned. the desert selection is very poor.
Staff was great , After checking in I went to my room and was not happy with the 'sea view' I paid extra for as it was partially covered by a wall. The staff was great changed my room straight away. Food was really good and had a good selection. The pool and hotel is lovely, the views are amazing and its a quick walk down the steps to the lovely beach. yes the hotel could do with a paint but it has loads of people there day in and but there is cleaners all-day cleaning the hotel. There is not much to do around outside the hotel but we went to the zoo which isnt to far and had a great day. The hotel has really good entertainment . Foam partys and inflatables on the water, also had a white clothes party with lots of music and great atmosphere. My son ollie loved the mini disco and nolan the entertainer was great with him. I would defo recommend and go back :)
