H10 Ocean Dreams Boutique Hotel

We have been staying at this hotel since it opened in 2016 it is so chilled, very clean, lovely food & staff, we just love everything about it and will be returning again in September. Ocean dreams you never fail to please us see you soon 😎

First time at this hotel. I am using manual wheelchair, cannot walk at all. During booking, I asked some questions, and they were nicely and fast answered, got pictures of adapted bathroom etc. I like to swim, so I asked about the pool hoist and they confirmed “We also want to assure you that a pool hoist is available at our hotel for your convenience.”

So made the booking. Very soon they informed that price was wrong (too high), and lowered it. Because of this, I gave them starting points of 6/5 in my mind, one over max.

Upon arrival after checking in, we went via pool area to our room, only to notice the pool hoist was not there! Back to reception to inquire, the told “It is broken, it is very slow to get parts from mainland.” After couple weeks stay, it was still broken. How long can it take for some parts travel 1-2000 km, when I can travel from other side of continent there in 6-7 hours?

They allowed us to use the pool of another H10 across the street. But this is not what I paid for, I wanted easy access to pool, near my room. Not the 0,5 km roundtrip from pool to pickup the forgotten swimming googles, across several too deep ramps, across street etc.

In the shower, there was no wall grab bars. The wall grab bar next to toilet seat was very loose, not securely attached. The first shower chair started cracking after about a week, got new one, which broke on the first use. And no, I am not overweight.

Room was on ground level. Cleaning personnel left 2 times in row the patio door unlocked, I notified the reception about this, and yet again the next day the door was unlocked after cleaning.

A electric cabinet on corridor next to our room was left open, notified reception, and it took 1-2 days for them to do anything to it.

Food was good, overall cleanliness good, peaceful feeling all over the hotel, service in general good.

Location very good, close to main street where most of shopping possibilities, restaurants etc. Tranquil feeling on the city.

In accessibility point of view, Corralejo city area was not perfect, but mostly OK. Some parts difficult, missing few meters of wooden pavements on sandy beach, sudden one step on otherwise accessible route etc.

I might go again, but feeling I got from lack of not trying to fix the pool hoist really bothers me. No compensation was offered. What would the 100 other quests in hotel have said, if you offered them to use the pool in other hotel, because we have no water in pool and the hose to fill it is in mainland?

Lovely low key adults only hotel, all very clean and well maintained with nice gardens and pool area. Our ground floor room had a spacious terrace overlooking a garden then onto the pool area. It was well equipped with huge comfy bed, hospitality tray with kettle and coffee maker, free safe, plenty of storage, bathroom had 2 basins and walk in shower. Downside for me was the light coming through the glass bricks at night, I had to block them up with pool towels as I like a dark bedroom We just had breakfast m the restaurant was bright and spacious with very varied choice of good quality hot and cold items, could also order breakfast from a menu, food could have been hotter. Plenty of sun beds available for the odd times we used them. Few minutes walk to bars, restaurants, shops, town and beach.
