We have stayed here many times and having read the reviews I can totally concur about the sunbed wars. It's ok to say that it is not allowed to reserve sunbeds but nothing is done by hotel staff to prevent it. I watched a few weeks ago as up to 6 beds were reserved first thing with nobody using them until mid afternoon. It has been a well known fact for years that more were required and yet no more are ever provided. The pool itself was disgusting, with the walls green and a film over the water so I ended up refusing to let the kids go in. Yes the rooms are basic but adequate for what is needed ( the pillows could be improved on) with an upgrade on a few of the sofa beds maybe needing seen to and the location is of course fantastic. So much more could be made of this place if some money was invested. Staff are exceptional with any problems sorted out immediately.
Fantastic location, next to town and beach. Slightly dated apartments, but do the job for a great stay. Reception staff were lovely, any issues they sorted immediately. The pools were great, clean and the whole area was well looked after. Unfortunately, what has put us off was the rediculous fight for sunbeds and parasols. All gated and locked entrances, but to get a sunbed people were jumping walls and gates the second one entrance was open. Nowhere near enough sunbeds for the size of the complex. There is plenty of room to add more, and we have no idea why this issue wasn’t sorted. We had small kids who wanted to be in the pool all day, but we weren’t able to see them and keep them safe as no availability for beds and parasols nearby and we had a baby trying to keep out of the sun. This issue would stop us returning!, such a shame as everything else was really good!
Amazing location and apartment, only downside was the sunbed wars in the morning. Having to get up and wait at the locked gate, to then see fully grown men and women jumping over other gates and running to sunbeds. Such a shame.
Excellent apartments, well equipped with everything you need. Great location and super close to everything, even the water park was within walking distance (this is a must visit we all had a great day) The rooms are dated but the bathrooms have been renovated and are great. Beds and pillows weren’t the best in my opinion but made do. Bar serves limited food and drink and would benefit having extra staff and longer opening times. There is no entertainment/bar after 6pm and as we were all top floor apartments and in a group of 8 there wasn’t enough room to congregate on 1 balcony (better with ground floor apartments) The pool area is lovely but completely lacks sun loungers and the scenes at 9.30 racing for sun beds were crazy (this definitely needs looking into) people were queuing at the gates at least an hour before. Overall a great stay but wouldn’t return.
Apartment a bit dated but clean staff incredibly helpful overall really enjoyed our stay would return the location is perfect
