Set at approximately 200 metres from Dunas de Corralejo Park, the idyllic location of this complex offers lots of desert landscapes and dunes, as well as white sandy beaches and turquoise water. Guests will be at only 3km from the centre of Corralejo, where in the Old quarter they can find the remains of a typical fishing village, with numerous restaurants serving freshly caught specialities. Those looking for bars and shopping opportunities can find them in the newer parts of the city. The complex itself also houses an excellent restaurant offering a wide range of dishes and boasting an extensive wine list. Each of the white-washed villas has a stylish décor with high archways, soft lighting and opens to a large poolside terrace. Guests can refresh in the private pools or treat themselves with a visit to the spa and enjoy the Finnish and Turkish sauna and the rain-effect showers.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Fantastic complex. We arrived after 10pm and the security staff were extremely helpful and informative. Very clean & modern villa. Everything you needed and more. Fully kitted out kitchen if you wanted to cook. Great to have a full fridge/freezer to keep all our water/ drinks cold. Microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and juicer. Very comfortable firm beds and a wonderful lounge/ dining area. Good size bathroom and shower with complimentary toiletries. The villa was cleaned every 4 days also the pool and hot tub. Good sized pool and pool area, sun beds by the pool, tables and chairs then up on the terrace with the hot tub were more sun beds and table and chairs. Very friendly and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for more. Fantastic holiday and will definitely go back. We were 5 minutes walk from 2 large supermarkets and a few restaurants across the road from the supermarkets. A taxi into Corralejo cost 7 euros. Excellent taxi service available.
First time visiting the Bahiazul. The garden Villa was very spacious and clean. Bathroom maybe in need of an upgrade but it was perfectly functional. The outdoor space was fabulous with plenty of areas to sit or sunbathe. The pool was a welcome addition and we didn’t mind it not being warm as it was so hot a cold dip was nice. Our kids enjoyed fun in the pool. One disappointment was having some very noisy neighbours whose teenagers screamed and shouted the entire time. We did have a word and it got slightly better. This is in no way the fault of the hotel. By all means enjoy yourself but a little respect for your neighbours wouldn’t go amiss. We did give the barbecue a go but a bit disappointing to not get the charcoal included after paying for the utensils. The barbecue wasn’t a great success it took ages to get it to heat up but it was a nice idea… We used the hot tub a couple of times but it doesn’t actually get hot. The pool and villa were cleaned twice during our stay, realistically we could’ve done with a few more cleans but it’s a big resort so maybe it’s just not possible. The resort is immaculate and very pretty, with two large supermarkets close by which was handy. We were bed and breakfast. Can’t comment on dinner but saw it set up and it looked really lovely. The breakfast was very good with everything you could want, so much choice! We had a drink in the bar area which is a really nice place to sit however a bit pricey for a very small glass of wine. That being said the staff were very friendly and polite. We ventured into Corralejo most nights where we enjoyed the music square and a taxi wasn’t too expensive. If you would rather be more central this maybe isn’t that place for you but we found we had the best of both worlds. On our last day we had a late flight but unfortunately there was no scope to get a later check out as the place was full. We sat in the bar area until we got picked up which we were welcome to do. The kids played pool and air hockey which made it go by a bit quicker. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return in the future.
just back from bahia azul. excellent property. villa and pool spotless. staff very helpfull and friendly. short taxi ride to centre of corralejo 7 euros in taxi. very close to mercadona and lidl. we are hoping to go back next year.
2nd time staying at Bahiazul . We go to just chill and relax for the week . We stayed in Royal Villa 13-4 this time, and it was right at the bottom on the left and was so quiet and peaceful the whole week we were there.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need . The outside area furniture , and bathroom are a bit tired and could do with an update but the shower is pretty powerful .
Breakfast has all you need and great quality . All the staff are friendly and helpful. Had a small issue with the pool cleaning but it was quickly resolved by reception.
Approx 10 euros in a taxi to town centre . Best restaurant in the town by far is Rias Baixas Restaurante - amazing seafood paella and sangria !
Bahiazul is a great place to stay for couples and we will definitely return later this year !
This was our 3rd visit to Baihazul and they didn’t let us down. If you’re looking for a private villa with pool along with fantastic onsite facilities then this place is hard to beat. Our villa was outstanding although the bathroom was looking a little tired, however the management team are constantly updating the villas so I’m sure our villa will get a refresh in the near future.
