Staff lovely and friendly. Food was excellent plenty of selection to suit everyone. Apartments are not apartments there is no sink and a tiny mini fridge no spoons or cutlery in my opinion shouldn’t be advertised as an apartment. Rooms are a bit run down need updating and a good clean will show photos. Our laminate flooring was tape down with tape but was constantly rising. Also only one socket plug was working in our room so bring an extension lead. Each pool is all a bit away from each other. slides only on pool C which is the only pool with no umbrellas for shade. Pool A is where we spent most our time it does have drinks but no alcohol bar closest is pool B. We had a lovely holiday but room and how it’s all spaced out didn’t suit us.
Just arrived home from a lovely 5 night stay from Caleta Dorada. Bungalows are clean and nice and the cleaner came a few times to replenish with towels and necessity’s, was a lovely accommodation with aircon in the front and main room. We stayed in block A which was the most quiet block, sunbeds always available and a soft drink tap but no bar. We spent pool days in block C which was the more lively place; music, kids animations and a bar- always sunbeds available also.
Food was amazing, so much choice and variety. Staff were polite and always had a smile on their faces. Would definitely recommend if you like to try different types of foods.
Location was perfect for us, supermarket in close proximity, market 2 mins away and the walk to the beach is about 10 mins. I would recommend visiting the zoo whilst here; coach comes around 9 in the morning and returns around half 5, around 7 euros with return which is a bargain.
Our only let down about our stay was the alcoholic drinks. Cocktails were premade in jugs and a lack of variety in what there was, nothing seemed fresh. Overall drinks were not the greatest but there was a really nice Irish bar up the road which was lovely and cheap.
Overall my stay here was lovely, something different from the hotel holidays which i surprisingly loved, a holiday where you do not spend as much time at the resort but facilities are still top notch.
Positives: Stayed here for a week in July and it was absolutely fine for a 3 star hotel. Bungalow was clean enough. Pillows were lumpy, but slept fine. Also sofa bed option in bungalow if your partner/friend is snoring! Appreciated the drying area out the back of the bungalow as well as seating at the front! Air con was fine and in both bedroom and living room, shower worked fine. Food was a bit repetitive but generally quite tasty. Pools were nice.
A few negatives that might be helpful in making your decision:
A group of 5 girls stayed here and we could not fault it. Bungalows lovely, staff great, food very nice and overall we had a lovely time. Everything is on the doorstep. Pool A was our preferred pool as quieter and no towels placed and not used. The cup thing didn’t bother us. Great time was had and we’re fussy!! Great value.
Value very good, staff as always very friendly, rooms always clean, always something to eat never go hungry breakfast great, no running for sunbeds which is a bonus plenty sunbeds airport close, and shops, beach close, been coming every year for the past 20 years always feel relaxed great holiday.
