Caybeach Caleta is located in a 2 minutes walk from the beach and 150 metres from Castillo centre. This appartments with one or two bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, sofa bed in the living room and a large terrace with chairs and sunloungers ready to enjoy are the best option to discover Fuerteventura. Family fun awaits at the hotel's multisport and playground areas where have a mini golf match, discover the tennis court or have a bath in the swimming pool is a must.
Caybeach caleta is in a good location, but some of it is disappointing.
The atmosphere was calm and quiet. No drama, no arguements, just peace. I think the accommodation benefited from that.
However, the room was average. We had to wait 2 hours just to check in as we arrived at 1 and needed to check in at 3. When we checked in, the key card "didn't work" so we couldn't get in. We went back to reception as we wanted it changed, there was a really long line and then they told us to try and twist the lock while pressing the key card against it. She looked quite annoyed because it seemed like everyone was asking the same question, because she didn't tell anyone about it. After a while, they sent someone round to look at it and he told us the same thing. A waste of time to be honest. We were unpacking and we noticed that the bed sheets were ripped and had stains and that the water thst came out of the tap was greasy. The air conditioning didn't work, it was 6€. The cleaner didn't come, they were supposed to come every 3 days but haven't came in the past 5 days. The shower was very efficient, as it including a shower Glass instead of a shower curtain like most accommodations.
The cleaner didn't come as often as they should, they haven't come in 5 days had they should come in 3 days.
The pool bar is very average. The pool is not suitable for kids becuase it was 1.35 m all the way around. The music is also not suitable for kids as it had swearing and content maturity in it.
We stayed here for 10 nights and had a great time. The hotel itself is very central. We were lucky; we were located near the steakhouse and had direct access straight down the hill, and you are in the town. The pool was very nice, and the pool bar was very reasonably priced and they did have a happy hour from five to six. The bar staff was very friendly, and we never had a problem getting sun beds at any time of the day. The only downside was that there was not much entertainment, and the bungalow itself was very nice, but the sofa bed was outdated and very uncomfortable. There was no air conditioning in the main room, only in the bedroom. Apart from that, everything was good. There was very good Wi-Fi. And they served a lovely buffet breakfast for €10 until 10 am. And lots of free parking nearby
Lovely holiday Yes it needs some attention and modernisation, old and worn out. However, it was clean, quiet, friendly and a great price.
We've got no complaints really. The rooms are decent for what you need, the pool is nice. You just need to be there for 9.45. The food at the bar is really nice and a reasonable price. The bloke who works mainly during day is a really nice bloke. Close enough to the bars and restaurants. The only thing that let's the place down is the lack of entertainment for the kids throughout the day. We were at Caybeach in October. William tried his best to get everyone involved. Unfortunately this time we hardly saw the entertainer.
Good place, great value for money
Mario over and over again! Fantastic guy and makes the resort. What a guy! The little bungalows are old fashioned but perfectly adequate especially for what you pay! Wifi is fab, friendly people, clean hotel, well kept grounds. Amazing maids, polite reception staff. Just a really friendly international resort! Your kids will be stealing your phone for google translate to talk to new friends!
