The wonderful local harbour as well as shopping options, restaurants and bars can be easily reached on foot. The airport is around 7 km away and the capital of the island, Puerto de Rosario, is 12 km from the hotel. This is a perfect location to spend a sunny holiday by the sea.

Too noisy at night
Im here just now and what would otherwise be a very nice trip is being ruined by the noise Our room is about 40 metres from the Royal level and rhere is some woman choking the life out of some classic songs Some nights its gone on to midnight and beyond and is so loud you can't sleep We asked for amove and it was noted and ignored
Disappointing
Rooms were tired and dirty around edges. Sheets not changed all week. Floor was being mopped using black dirty water. Bathroom shower left dirty all week. Sunbeds are dirty and ground area dirty. No pool bar service. No free towels for pool area. Food not good. No decent meat or fish available in the buffet all week. Don't expect chicken or salmon. Tuna salad all week. No quality vegetarian option. The same pastries and puddings all week. Brazilian restaurant ok. Italian ok. Mexican - I had stuffed peppers, cold and covered in coconut milk, horrible. We would never return. The food and rooms were not good.
Good Hotel with good facilities
Maybe some cost cutting occurring but generally good. Good facilities and food. There are 3 Swimming pools one for young children another which seemed to be used for the daily exercise classes and the 3rd, largest pool was generally quieter although sometimes seemed to be filled with very noisy people which was disturbing although maybe this isn't the hotels fault, I guess!

Noisy room
We have just returned from Barcelo mar 1st time & hubbys 70th birthday celebration We arrived & greeted well upon arriving what we had already booked they gave us upgrade fully inclusive with our deluxe Seaview room which was amazing However the noise from the royal level which is a sister of the Barcelo group being right next door adults only the air con unit on the roof & the entertainment , bring right next door & group bands that went on til small Hours of the night & all balconies looking over this facility It’s was so disappointing so please note to book any rooms other than on the 6 block So do noisy day & night
Other then that we are planning a return trip as all was very good amazing staff, food , good quality drinks , bottle of champers delivered for hubbys birthday facilities can’t fault Just not 3rd floor block 6

We came to this hotel in March The Animation team was excellent when we came back in September it was very poor non-existent especially in the entertainment room
