Will definitely be returning. Super hotel
We were sad to leave Sol Puerto Marina today but already planning our return next year. I wouldn't even consider looking for another hotel option. Sol Puerto Marina had everything we expected and more.
Firstly the staff were brilliant and so friendly. The day time entertainment by the pool catered for everyone and the guys providing the entertainment were fantastic. They had a water mat each day which was a big hit with young and old.
Lots of sunbeds available during the day. Not sure if that was just because of the time of year. Maybe they are less plentiful in peak season.
Location just on the promenade but a code is needed to come into the hotel grounds so everything feels very safe. When you come out the main reception door, Lidl is less than 10 minute walk, as is the bus stop, very cheap transport compared to taxis. Short walk to the marina where there are lots of fantastic restaurants. Also some gorgeous choices along the promenade in the direction of Torremolinos
We had a 1 bed apartment with a fantastic view of the marina and sea. Room was gorgeous very spacious for 2 adults and a 5 & 3 year old. Very clean also.
There is a nice selection of children's entertainment inside the hotel. Supermarket on the pool level and reasonably priced. Self service laundrette on site.
Pool bar is very good with nice variety of drinks and happy hour from 5 - 6. Very reasonably priced. We only ate there the first day and had breakfast on the last morning. Great selection and very clean.

Very disappointed with our accommodation and reception staffs manner and so unhelpful
Very disappointed with our accommodation room was so small with no balcony we request twin beds there we're two beds pushed together to make the room look bigger there was a wardrobe with hanging space 3 small shelves at the bottom of wardrobe which was so inappropriately for us as we are aged pensioners one with disability issues had to use our suitcase for items of clothing bathroom was the same no shelving had to put toiletries on bathroom floor. We asked three days in a row we would pay to be upgraded to another room we were overlooking a carpark reception staff c very unhelpful so will not be back to this hotel

Something special about this place ! Was here back in May 2026. Changes continue to happen around the property, for the better of course. Stayed in the Superior Studio Seaview, nicely appointed and convenient...AND BEAUTIFUL VIEWS !!
The staff ever so welcoming and accomodating. Koodoos to the activities team as well as to the Bar/Restaurant and Front Desk teams. ''And'' to the maintenant team ....can't forget you guys for keeping the grounds ever so beautiful and the pool in top shape! EXCELENTE !!

Awful!
Just back from a 2 night stay. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment sea view 2106, the room was awful, couch and chair in the living area were filthy, full of stains. The floors were not swept or cleaned, lots of crumbs and dirt. We should have complained but didn't get the feeling anything would be done. There was spare bed sheets so I put them over the couch and then noticed a yellow stain on the bedsheets. There was no doors on the wardrobe, tv had 1 english channel. We found huge cockroaches in the kitchen running around the counters, disgusting. When we looked under the kitchen units we saw 2 cigarette boxes. Pool area has no tables for the sun beds so you have to put your stuff on the grass, pool bathrooms weren't being cleaned during the day, ran out of soap etc. Would not return to this hotel, was so glad it was only 4 nights.

Holidayed in sol puerta marina in October. It is in an ideal location. It takes about 20 minutes in a taxi from the airport. This costs about 21 euros. Staff were very welcoming. We got a free upgrade which was much appreciated. Staff overall were great very welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was included in our deal. It was beautiful. Each morning I chose something different from omlettes to fried food. It was always freshly made. The cold breakfast was equally appealing. Staff were continuously cleaning and updating as needed. The location was ideal.Go out the back gate and you are on the promenade. I walked 5 miles each morning on the prom and watched the sun rise each day. Daytime entertainment was really good from wellness to aquafit which I really enjoyed. The afternoon entertainment was very varied. It was lovely to sit listen and sit a cold drink or 2. The accomadation was spotless with a cleaning service every other day. Very non intrusive Staff Overall it was a fab week in a lovely hotel. Thanks to all
