Please ignore all the really negative review as they are simply not true. This is a very large hotel complex and staff work very hard

Pros

• The staff work hard to clean this large hotel and most public areas are very clean. I’ve never seen staff mopping the outdoor tiles and slabbed area before.
• Food and drink is good, standard all include. Lots of choice at breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant but you need to time visits right to avoid massive queues and it feeling like a cattle market. We found 8.30-9am for breakfast and before 8pm for dinner as optimal times. There is a snack bar which serves pancakes, cereals, fruit, bacon sandwiches & toasties from 10.30am, at lunchtime this changes to include burgers and kebabs and chips as well as pasta and salad. Late afternoon you can still get toasties and a variety of cakes and pastries. At certain times you can get crisps and pizzas from the pool bar.
• the hotel has a chip system to get cups and you get given one each on check in. You can change your cup as often as you want or swap it back for tokens and you can buy additional cups for €1 which helps if you want to get a few drinks in before AI ends. There is a self serve area for beer, wines, soft drinks, milkshake, water and coffee. Weirdly they don’t provide paper cups for hot drinks by the pool so you have to use your plastic cup. For spirits, cocktails and slush you have to queue at the bar but queues weren’t too bad.
• there is a freezer by the pool bar with a good selection of ice creams and lollies which is regularly restocked.
• 2 pools. The main pool has lots of entertainment throughout the day such as inflatable slide, foam party and usual aerobics and water polo. we preferred the smaller pool as it was more relaxing and easier to get sunbeds.

Tip - you need to get down around 8am to get sunbeds. We were a family of 7 and always managed to get beds and 1 or 2 parasols.

• We had 2 superior rooms in the main building with lovely sea views and modern decor so definitely worth paying for this. We also had a junior suite which is in a different block, unfortunately we had to change after a couple of days due to air con being broken. Also we were in the back block so our view was of the block in front of us. The other 2 block of suites had pool and sea views if you were on the 2nd floor so for a better view request this when booking. I think you need to be in a room number over 1015 for a better view.

Cons

• The hotel is a little far out. There are 3 supermarkets and a gift shop as well as a few restaurants about 7-10 mins walk away but if you keep going you can walk to the centre in about 20-25 mins. Would be ok depending how hot it is.
• Despite the rest of the hotel being clean, the pools weren’t and both pools had a lot of grit on the bottom, mouldy tiles and we kept getting hair between our fingers!
• AI drinks end at 11pm and after this you have to pay until the bar closes at midnight.

Overall we had a good stay and I would consider returning to this hotel again.

The best hotel in Torremolinos. The hotel is nearby and is in a great location. It has very good service, good food, clean facilities and excellent entertainment.
