Locality and facing the beach
Great location fab atmosphere. Our room was lovely and met all our needs. We only chose b+b as we like the explore the restaurants and bars in torremolinos. I must add although theirs not much choice for breakfast as their cutting down on food waste we still ate well. I definitely would return as I did love this hotel staff were lovely and friendly and it was lovely and clean with fresh towels every day if we wished

We do love it here really
4th stay this year, so must enjoy it. However, hubby said every time he had a hot breakfast if was, at best lukewarm, now on last morning we were there just after restaurant opened and again he said it was not hot, although you could feel the heat from the lamps.They do need to rectify that somehow, although there is a microwave. Apart from this it was another great stay although I think the communication about the Bali Beds should be better, we used 1 day, took over an hour for staff to come over, and that was only after going to the bar three times to request service ( Elliott was not there, so I think that was the issue). The excuse given was Beds not busy & bar was, not actually true & one second occasion we were told the man was on a "break" and would be over in about 5/10 minutes, I then went to the bar after another 20 minutes to find him on his phone! Also people on Beds, not paying for them and when he did come over to serve us he then told them about paying & they left, not policed properly. The entertainment is normally pretty rubbish as well, the guitar man is awful, the 2 women solo singers are not too bad, but guitar man seemed to be on 3 nights in 1 week and believe me you just need his backing tracks not him playing! This sounds like a bad review but we do love it here, great location, wonderful rooms, mostly great staff ( odd bad apple but that is expected ). Very clean hotel and a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

Relaxing at Barracuda
Excellent clean Hotel. Room service to a High standard. Breakfast great selection from cereals to Hot food with omelettes and pancakes fresh made as you wait We would thoroughly recommend this Hotel P.S Jet 2 Also Excellent

Enjoyable Stay
We chose the Hotel La Barracuda for its location, and it didn’t disappoint, the views were amazing from our 4th floor balcony overlooking the pool and sea,and right on the beach front.We did find the hotel a little dated, but we were fine with that, because all of the hotel was very very clean,Our room was spacious with a lovely large comfortable double bed, the aircon was very good and strong.The bathroom was fine, we requested a walk-in shower for which it was granted,We were in room 412, and our room attendant kept our room spotless and clean all week,and she was very courteous and polite..We were half board, and only chose to go for breakfast 3 times out of the weeks stay,for which we found the food was perfectly fine,As for the evening meal,even tho it was tasty, it was always just warm, but still there was a good selection.plus the restaurant staff were very polite and friendly..but I can’t say the same for the middle aged barman in the entertainment bar, we found him abrupt and never once smiled! In all we did enjoy our stay at this hotel, and we think all the staff are very kind and friendly apart from one..

A Comfortable Stay, but Disappointing Noise at Night
We recently spent a week on a bed-and-breakfast basis at Hotel La Barracuda.
Overall we were happy with the cleanliness and comfort of the room, and the staff were nice, friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was buffet-style, with the usual selection of food, and we also enjoyed the bar snacks and drinks.
Unfortunately, our stay was spoilt to a considerable extent by the noise from the rooftop bar, where loud, booming music continued until around 12.30 am every night.
I have difficulty getting to sleep, and the constant bass-heavy music made this particularly difficult. We had booked several day-trip excursions during our holiday, which meant early starts and long tiring days. At the end of these days, we really needed peace, quiet and, above all, a good night’s sleep. I had considered asking to be moved to another room, but my husband didn’t want to make a fuss. In hindsight, I wish we had raised the issue, as lack of sleep had a real impact on our enjoyment of the holiday. It is certainly a mistake I won’t make again.
The hotel has several positive points, particularly its friendly staff, clean rooms, and enjoyable bar refreshments. However, I feel that guests should be made aware of the potential noise from the rooftop bar especially those allocated rooms on the upper floors.
My advice to anyone booking a stay here would be to request a room away from the rooftop bar. A comfortable room and friendly service are important, but a peaceful night’s sleep is equally essential when you are on holiday.
