Málaga is around 11 km from the hotel, whilst the airport is just 7 km away. Links to the public transport network are in front of the hotel. Renovated in 2005, this superbly situated hotel comprises a total of 66 rooms spread over 5 floors. Guests may make use of the air-conditioned foyer which has public Internet connection. Guests may choose to pay a visit to the cosy bar and the restaurant. Individually and tastefully decorated, the rooms are all air-conditioned and feature a balcony or terrace with views of the sea or pool. There is a swimming pool with sun loungers in the outdoor complex. The nearest golf course is just 3 km away.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Wonderful atmosphere
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful stay at Essence Hotel. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with any questions. The location was convenient, and I really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere throughout my stay. Everything was well organized, making my visit smooth and enjoyable. I would happily stay here again and would recommend Essence Hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and comfortable place to stay.

Gorgeous hotel with the most amazing staff.
Just had a wonderful week at this stunning boutique hotel. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable although definitely need more hangers in the wardrobes as we only had five each side and drawer space is small. The breakfast is plentiful with lots of choices and you are able to sit poolside which is lovely. The staff are the best thing about this hotel and every one was incredibly friendly,welcoming and happy to help which made the whole experience more enjoyable. The only thing that stopped this from being a perfect stay was the noise from the next door guests late at night, door slamming and shouting is totally unacceptable behaviour, thankfully they arrived on the Thursday and we left Saturday and up until then everything was fine.
That said we will 100% be returning as the exceptional service and overall quality of the hotel more than made up for some inconsiderate guests. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Relaxing solo trip
Great, relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for solo travellers or those seeking a relaxed vibe. Lovely pool area and bar service. Three jacuzzi pools. Friendly staff. Powerful air con in rooms. Next to lots of restaurants and bars. A couple of minutes walk to the beach. Will definitely be back!
Another amazing holiday
This was our second visit to the Essence Hotel. This is probably the best hotel we have stayed at. The facilities are excellent and the staff are just amazing. The food is fresh with lots of choice and the hotel is 100m from the sea. Thank you to Sergio all the staff for are fabulous holiday.
