A night-time entertainment programme is organized for the guests. On offer are breakfast and dinner in the form of a buffet. At lunchtime, the bar offers a selection of snacks from the menu.
Good, but this place is out of town. Good 25 minutes to walk to town Good things: Staff really lovely. Cleaners amazing. Had clean sheets every other day and clean towels every day. Lots of coat hangers. Fridge and kettle but no spoons.Room cleaned properly every day. Lots of sunbeds and seats. Never had to wait for one. Always felt safe and never had rowdy people. Lots of Spanish at hotel. Very thoughtful with melon platter and bubbly on last evening. Lovely touch.
Downsides.
Food was ok but cheap and limited. However, salads plenty and fresh fruit.Cooked breakfast not good. Remember, this is a budget hotel. Limited storage in bathroom and balcony julliette. Struggled to get two people at same time sitting. Hairdryer rip hair at back. Queue at bar sometimes long.
Overall, you get what you pay for. However, staff amazing. For the price, good . It is however, out of town. Long walk to front but taxis about €7.00. Not a lot around except supermarket.
We had a very enjoyable stay at Nerja Club and felt it offered excellent value for money. It's a three-star hotel, and for the price, it exceeded our expectations.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. The pool area was a lovely place to unwind after a day exploring Nerja, and the breakfast offered a good variety of hot and cold options to start the day.
What really stood out was the staff. Every member of the team we encountered was friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. They were always happy to answer questions or assist with anything we needed, which made a real difference.
The hotel is located in a quieter part of Nerja. It's around a 20-minute walk to the Balcón de Europa, which we enjoyed, but if you don't fancy walking, shared taxis are readily available and cost approximately €7–10 for up to four people, making it a quick and affordable journey.
If you're looking for a lively party destination for a stag or hen weekend, this probably isn't the hotel—or the town—for you. Nerja has a much more relaxed atmosphere and is better suited to couples, families, and anyone looking for a peaceful break or a more laid-back celebration.
Overall, we had a great stay and would happily recommend Nerja Club to anyone looking for a clean, friendly, and good-value base for exploring Nerja. We would certainly consider staying here again.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Nerja Club. The staff were all polite and helpful. Our room was quite spacious with a large balcony offering a sea view. We were on a half board basis and the food was fine with plenty of variety. The pool area was good and the pool itself warm and inviting. The Sports Bar was ideal for watching World Cup games and there was canny evening entertainment. The only downside is the steep walk to Burriana beach which might be too much for some but otherwise it was a memorable and relaxing stay.
Good location. Nice pool area but many sun loungers broken. Bar staff are rude and v unhelpful. This is a basic, low budget hotel doesn’t cater for allergies at breakfast or with any food labelling or bar food.
Another fabulous holiday at Nerja Club. Thank you to all the team for making us feel welcome once again. Really appreciated the welcome gift of two bottles of water & some sweets. First impressions really do count. Can I say thank you to our cleaning lady who couldn’t have been more helpful when I carelessly smashed something when unpacking. She immediately came to clear up the breakage leaving our room free from anything dangerous and sharp. We really appreciated her professionalism. We also got an east facing room with a terrace that we specifically requested. Our room location really makes a difference to the enjoyment of our holiday so thank you again for that. The dining room was always a popular place with everyone which was good to see. The buffet breakfast and evening meal are excellent value for money. I particularly enjoyed the espetos cooked over coals on Saturday. The chef’s creativity needs to be praised. I really enjoyed the variety of salads that were served. Thank you all for another lovely holiday. See you again next year.
