⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great hotel – lovely week!
Last day here today after spending a week at this lovely hotel, and we’ve had a fantastic stay!
The hotel is spotlessly clean throughout, very welcoming, and all the staff are friendly and helpful. There are lovely sunbathing areas with lots of sunbeds and plenty of space, which is a real bonus.
The food was really nice with a good variety. It was occasionally a little cold, but there’s a microwave available, so easily sorted.
The location is great, although the area is quite hilly, so just something to keep in mind. Our room was spotless and we had a lovely pool view, which was an added bonus.
It’s also not far from Bonanza Square and the harbour, which is beautiful and definitely worth a visit.
A special mention to Irene in the massage gazebo — I had an amazing deep-tissue massage and felt fantastic afterwards. Highly recommend her! 💆♀️
Overall, we’ve had a brilliant week and would definitely recommend this hotel. ❤️☀️
I spent several days at this hotel during high season (August) and I was very pleased. People were quiet, some families and couples, and I am very glad that there were no parties or anything bad or weird to report. The room was very clean with a decent sized window, with a perfectly working shower and amenities. It was well isolated and you could hear a bit the neighbors only if they move furniture, etc. The bed and pillows were very good, and I slept very well every night. The AC worked perfectly as well. The staff at reception was helpful and easy going. I cannot write anything about the food, since I did not eat there (I preferred going by the beach o exploring the city), but I saw people every day at the restaurant and I assume it must be good. The hotel could use a bit more of love regarding the (dirty) carpets in the corridors that lead to the rooms. The water in the pool could also be better taken care of, since I found floating stuff almost every day, and it could definitely benefit from adding more chlorine and balancing the PH levels. There were always long chairs available around the pool to sit and relax properly, and I especially appreciated having palm trees around to provide shade. Finally, I appreciated getting a normal room that had a little sea view, and I would definitely recommend this hotel and/or come back
I read reviews before I went and I've got to add my experience.
For young couples this is excellent. I however was disappointed. It's very basic, you pay extra for absolutely everything. You even get one coffee sachet as a welcome 'gift' and have to pay for more.
If you don't mind uncomfortable, dated sun beds and tower block views then this is the hotel for you.
The food is excellent. All staff apart from reception are really friendly.
Would definitely recommend the San Fermin hotel. The staff are amazing, I had booked two rooms with loveholidays. I emailed the hotel enquiring if they could be close together. The response from Veronica was instant. Although she couldn’t guarantee my request she would flag it in the system. True to her word she did flag it and they were together. Nothing was too much bother for the staff. The service is excellent. The hotel is clean, the rooms could do with a little update, although they do have kettle, with tea/ coffee provided on first day. Fridge, bathroom, hairdryer, air conditioning, safe and balcony.. The pools have a life guard on duty and there was no fighting for sunbeds as there was plenty. We had booked breakfast in our package and we weren’t disappointed, there was plenty to choose from and it was delicious. location is a little hilly although close to all amenities. If staying in Benalmadena again, we will definitely be returning to San Fermin.
Such a great place. A great location to explore the whole of Benalmadena. Spotlessly clean, friendly staff and great pool areas, including lots of loungers. The rooms looking over the pool have great balconies and are equipped with everything you need. Fabulous shower and bathroom and towels replaced daily. Lovely area to chill in the smaller pool area and bar and snack truck really close to large pool. Great menu and reasonable prices so great value. Best 3* hotel I’ve stayed in so highly recommend. Brilliant for couples and families. The hotel is up quite a steep hill but we found it fine ( in our 50s!) and there are alternative less steep routes, Definitely visit Dizzy Donkey and Coco Bongos which are really close to the hotel.
